Our first visit to this incredible restaurant was nothing short of amazing! JoJo, our server, went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. Since it was our first time, we were overwhelmed by their extensive menu featuring all-day breakfast, lunch, and dinner options. JoJo was incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, guiding us to make the perfect choices.

We decided on breakfast for dine-in and an order of BBQ with sides to-go. Let me just say—WOW! The breakfast was a 10/10. I’ve never had pancakes as fluffy and flavorful as these. My eggs, hash browns, turkey bacon, and pancakes were all cooked to absolute perfection. As for our BBQ to-go orders, they were just as impressive. I got the chicken breast, brisket, fried okra, and mashed potatoes, and every single bite was divine. The brisket was so tender it melted in our mouths.

My grandma also ordered breakfast and chose ribs, potato salad, and baked beans for her to-go meal. She was so delighted by the flavors that she couldn’t help but dance in her seat! She hasn’t stopped raving about how fantastic everything was.

On top of the outstanding food, the customer service and atmosphere were impeccable.

The owner, Henry seemed like a nice guy as well, he was so kind and respectful. There was a little work that was being done, and he come over to inform us that it was going to be a little noisy for a few minutes.

I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for exceptional food, excellent service, and a welcoming vibe. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Placed a breakfast to-go order this morning at 7:00am for me and a few other coworkers...

I literally had to repeat every part of my order 3 times before the employee on the phone had it "correct". When I arrived to pick up my order, all of the "to-go" parking was occupied by employee vehicles. There were only 2 guest dining inside when got there, so I'll let you use your deduction skills to figure that one out. It took several minutes of standing there in front of half of their restaurant staff before I was finally greeted and asked if I was picking up an order... even their manager, who made eye contact with me, walked by without greeting me or the other guest behind me. Once I was finally greeted and my order was brought out to me, I wisely opened every to-go container and reviewed everything to find that they left off the toast on my meal. Condiments (picante sauce, ketchup, etc.) were not offered until I had requested them. Plastic eating utensils were not offered at all. Once I left and was able to start eating my food, I noticed they had left out the smoked sausage in my omelet, but managed to conveniently still charge me for it :-D

All in all, their food is ok... hence the 2 out of 5 stars. The food is better than what's served at Denny's or IHOP, but the customer service is, at best, par with their breakfast competitors. I'd normally be ok with 1 or 2 of the issues that I mentioned above, but to have all these issues in one visit... I felt that I needed to share my experience with all of those willing to...

I work at a manufacturing company nearby and my colleagues and I frequent this establishment quite often. The experience is usually good, but today was a very bad day. I ordered one pancake as an 'add-on' to my meal (the cashier acknowledged it) and I inquired when it didn't arrive. The Assistant Manager, Janice, came over and arrogantly asked me for my receipt. It wasn't on the receipt, so she asked me if I wanted to go back to the counter and buy a pancake for $2 dollars and change. We had just spent $84 on lunch and this was the restaurant's error, not mine, so I asked if they would just bring the pancake, but she said NO! I asked to speak to the manager, David, but he never came over. When I finally went to the counter and found him, he was dismissive, holding a laptop the whole time, like I was just taking up his time; he didn't make eye contact and really didn't seem to care. I told him they acted like they were "starving for a buck" making a big deal over a $2 pancake, but he informed me that they were doing quite well. Well, I guess they don't need my money in the future and I won't be having any work lunches there with my colleagues anymore. David and Janice both refused to provide the owner's phone number or any contact information. I think he and Janice both do whatever they want there, secure in the knowledge that no one has the ability to report anything directly to the owners about the terrible customer service they provide. To be fair, the food was good, but I still won't return after my...

The parking lot was empty when I arrived to pick up my takeout order and now I understand why. This is literally the worst bbq I’ve ever had, if you can even call it that. The brisket looked, felt and tasted like mystery meat. Boxed kraft Mac & Cheese is better than what they’re serving and I’ve never had potatoes so bland. I hate to leave bad reviews but I’m just shocked and appalled at the food I received. You have to try very hard to make food this terrible. On top of that, I hate wasting money and rarely eat out due to affordability but I refused to stomach this meal. I tossed $20 in the trash. The upside to this place was the young man who rang me out. He was sweet as pie and I wish I would have caught his name. There was also a lady cleaning when I walked in and the restaurant was spotless and decorated beautifully. They have very cute horse saddles for stools near the bar-top tables which I’m sure my kids would have loved. They also have outdoor seating for the nice days before Texas becomes a hotbox. It’s so unfortunate that the food didn’t match everything else. I would have loved to make this one of our go-to spots since we live in the neighborhood.

Stopped by out of town and tried this BBQ joint. Nice smell and design to the place. It was around 630pm. All the people were nice, it was a welcoming environment. All you can eat rolls! The good. Ribs or cook in a sweet marinade like a lot of us do at home. Kind of refreshing. It's quite good. Mac and cheese was generic but very creamy. The peach cobbler was excellent. The bad. The brisket was dry and crumbly. Jalapeno Sausage was a bit dry but it honestly tasted good, could have been great. Always sad as that's my favorite. Yeast roll was a little old. BBQ sauce was only one flavor. Very tangy and quite overpowering. I would have loved to have had a slightly lighter sweeter one to go with those really good ribs. Something to compliment it better. Finally The one recommendation I had from a local was to get their jalapeno cornbread and they were out of stock. I've had Spring Creek, Killens, Papa's, and a bunch more around here but this chain while okay doesn't beat what I've had at some of the above. If you're close by and would like barbecue, it's not bad. If you're looking for a really good barbecue I would be looking to drive further.

I recently dined at Harris County Smoke House with my husband, and unfortunately, it was a disappointing experience. To start, the food was served cold, which was quite off-putting. The brisket lacked flavor and was surprisingly dry. The chicken had an old taste that made it unenjoyable, and the rice was also bland with no flavor whatsoever. On a positive note, the restaurant itself has a nice interior, creating a pleasant atmosphere. However, the absence of music made the environment feel stagnant, almost as if it were a dying restaurant. Overall, I was really hoping for a great meal, but the lack of quality food and ambiance left us feeling underwhelmed. I wouldn’t recommend this place based on our experience.
