I can't express enough how much I loveeeee this Lebanese restaurant. The moment I step in, I'm immediately transported to culinary bliss. The food here is beyond fantastic. The return of the watermelon and feta appetizer to the menu is a delightful revelation that should not be overlooked! The combination of refreshing flavors is simply divine.
What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional hospitality and genuine care I've received since day one. The staff here goes above and beyond to make me feel like a cherished guest. Among them, Ivan has become a standout favorite of mine. His attentiveness and hard work are truly commendable. And I can't forget to give a special shout-out to Fadi for his excellent service as well.
The manager, Jousefth, deserves high praise for creating an atmosphere that is both warm and professional. It's clear he takes great pride in his role, always ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that guests are well taken care of. His attention to detail and dedication are truly remarkable.
To sum it up, this place is an absolute gem. From the delectable food to the welcoming ambiance and the outstanding staff, it's an all-around incredible dining experience that I can't recommend enough. If you have a love for Lebanese cuisine like I do, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit. You won't be...
Read moreOrdered carryout meal, staff was pleasant on the phone. Upon arriving I thought wow this place looks nice, very full on a Wednesday. Went to the bar, got my carryout order of falafel, fatyer trio, and falafel and went home.
My expectations of the food were very high. When I ate the fatyer trio I thought it was good, nothing special, and it was fried instead of baked.
Then I moved onto the kibe, it was good but the texture was a little off. I absolutely love kibe and I was hoping for a better consistenty.
Falafel was last, this I was dissapointed with. Very dry and almost like it came out a bag from a wholesale place.
Now I haven't had the other food so I can't say how good or not that is. What I can say is, if you are looking for savory pastures, this is not my first stop. It's almost as if the ingredients were the cheap brand. I hope the owners can see this and improve upon the recipes and/or ingredients. I would love to come back and try again, but as of now I will stick locally.
If you are like me and love kibe, falafel, and fatayer. You can have amazing ones at Jereselum Restaraunt in Baileys Crossroads, Me Jannah in Courthouse, and Fettosh in Ballston area. All of these places have a mom and pop flavor to these and they taste very fresh...
Read moreWe hosted our post-ceremony lunch at Lebanese Taverna and couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the very beginning, the process was seamless thanks to Noha, their event coordinator, and Yousef, the general manager. They made planning so easy and were incredibly accommodating, offering different options based on our budget and needs.
We reserved half the restaurant for about 60 people, and while the space was a little tight, it ended up being perfect for our close family—it created such a warm and intimate atmosphere. Lebanese Taverna even allowed our friends to arrive an hour early to help with setup, and their staff went above and beyond to assist with both the setup and service throughout the event. Everyone was so attentive, constantly making sure tables were full and guests were comfortable.
We chose the Hamra family-style option, which was absolutely delicious and such a beautiful way to share a meal together. Our family and friends are still talking about how good the food and service were!
A huge thank you to Noha and Yousef for helping make this day so special for us. We can’t recommend Lebanese Taverna enough for anyone looking to host a...
