Something about a Shake Shack is so hard to resist… Burgers, fries, milkshakes that are all super fabulous and served typically swiftly? It equals a very tempting stop.
This Shake Shack is part of the Icon Park Village of Orlando, so it’s a pretty busy but great spot. There are a million things to do within such a small radius as its also right next to I-Drive - so, a juicy, hot and fresh burger obviously is one of those million things! And we so chose this route.
It was a rainy night so eating inside was a good choice. For a “fast food” restaurant it was pretty cute setup, and definitely more attention to details than other Shake Shacks I’ve been to. They had a shuffleboard game even in the corner that the kiddos loved.
Our food was good, and as we expected. Even though it was a steady stream of customers, we didn’t wait terribly long. I just feel I can’t quite give 5 stars because of how difficult it was to order. I’m not sure if it was just the employee helping us or what, but he seemed to be confounded by the idea that my dad wanted “everything” on his burger. Meaning he wanted all the toppings. Usually that doesn’t seem like such a crazy request, right? But this employee was so flustered by the fact that my dad would want lettuce, pickles, tomato, peppers, cheese and more all on just one burger, and he also wasn’t super friendly in the way he handled his confusion. It was just weird. So it took a long and painstaking time to order when I really feel it shouldn’t have.
Some people seem to make everything harder on themselves. But besides this the visit was good enough to come back. On a nicer weather day you could sit on the patio out front where cute strung lights shine the path, and look up at the giant ferris wheel and other busy tourist destinations all within fingers grasp...
Read moreWhile the food was decent, the attention to detail, service, professionalism, customer service and Mangement leadership was missing. This influenced the review. I placed an Uber Eats order and received a bag that was missing multiple items. I called this location however, they never answered the phone. As Uber is unable to resolve missing items, I had to drive to the location. This obviously defeats the intent of a delivery order. Upon arriving at the restaurant the first thing they indicate is I needed to contact Uber before realizing I was the ordering party as opposed to a delivery driver. A possible team lead first asked if the bag was open, and when I indicated it was received sealed they just said it was strange to be missing food as opposed to apologizing for their error. While they eventually replaced the food I never received an apology, commitment to improve their service or any hope this would not happen again. When they placed the replacement food in the bag a team member closed it, didn’t allow me to check it before sliding it partially toward me. Once again, no apology, no thank you for choosing to buy from their location, just silence. In addition, I never saw the “Team Lead” again at the end of the experience. I checked my food and walked out to provide our missing food to my family. Needless to say I cannot recommend this location and will not return. The question is, will I purchase food from Shake Shack...
Read moreI've heard so many people talk about shake shack. Today was the first time I actually got to try it.
The building was very basic and very plain and easily overlooked missed. If I wasn't using the GPSI would have driven by the place a bunch of times before I saw it. Honestly, I probably driven right by many shake shacks if they're all just a plane white building.
The burger was pretty inexpensive coming in at $6.99. Very interested to see what a 699 burger looks like in 2025. When ordered you get to pick out what number you wanted to use. So of course I put it in the number 69. I didn't realize there was number placards that you're supposed to pick up. I'll put that on the list of things I messed up today.
So the burger arrives and they bring it to my table. I immediately noticed that it is physically small in size but again it was $6 and 99 pennies. Once I took a bite I realized that this was totally worth the investment. Was totally delicious and great and a good portion size.
I was so impressed with this burger that I can't wait to go back and try more menu item. I honestly might come here everyday this week just to try to finish the menu.
Great job shake shack. You've easily just replaced my burger go to restaurant. Honestly I think you're better...
