Teton club|This place is sort of like a hotel with nothing but condos. Most if not all are privately owned and just managed by Teton Village. Can be booked through the club or through rental sites where owners list. My understanding is that all units are identical aside from either 2 or 3 bedrooms. We had a 2 bedroom which had 2 spacious bathrooms. Also had a small apartment sized washer and dryer. They offer daily housekeeping. There is a bar in the lounge but no food or restaurants in the place. There are of course quite a few within walking distance, yet we found ourselves driving to Jackson for most meals we did not prepare ourselves in the condo—there is a full kitchen with dishwasher. The parking is underground and you can not park or drive your own vehicle from that parking spot so valet is complimentary, there never seemed to be an expectation of a tip for car retrieval but it is customary and seemed to be appreciated—there is also an outdoor lot but you would have to walk about a block if using it, so we didn’t, simply enjoyed the convenience of valet. ||Bed: medium/hard, too hard for my liking||Pillow: all the same with medium fill, I requested a softer pillow but they only had more of the same||Lighting: quite a few lights but Fairly dim lit||Water pressure: ok, not great but handheld head in addition to the rain shower head helped negate any impact||Hot water: great||Shower curtain: glass doors were nice; shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are in each shower||Exhaust fan in bathroom: great for shower and stool room||Cleanliness: good||Interior sound proofing: ok, could hear neighbors blasting music but otherwise pretty quiet||Exterior sound proofing: poor, can hear construction occurring across the street starting at around 6:15am every day||Thermostat controls: poor, not responsive in any identifiable way, perhaps just a placebo ||WiFi: great ||Alarm clock: good with plug in for electrical cord or usb cords||Tv: 3 of them; tiny by today’s standards but fair number of channels, including premium channels and dish network I think it was||Room layout: great flow and very spacious||Elevators: slow but adequate, can also take the stairs fairly conveniently||Gym: small but quality equipment, a couple treadmills and ellipticals and a stretch band machine||Info in room: ok, but lacking much in the way of local sightseeing or activity info, but they do have a concierge on staff||Parking: valet is relatively quick to retrieve vehicle||Misc: tram is closed for the summer, gondola opens at 9am, it is free after 5pm for anyone but is occasionally closed for private functions. We got 2 free gondola passes at the office where you purchase them by showing our Teton club cards and showing ID. If you need others, you can save $7 by purchasing online and picking up the passes at that ticket office. Apparently there is also use of some of Teton Pines property (pool, tennis courts, etc) which must be arranged through the concierge but as the pool was closed for maintenance for the season we never went. There are 4 hot tubs at the condos one 10 seater and three 4 seaters. The nearby kid activities are really for little kids, not so much for teens or tweens. Right next door to concert music hall. Across the street from...
Read moreOur family took our first trip to Wyoming and were delighted with our stay in at the Teton Club. Considering we booked our trip pre-Covid 19, we were concerned about what the experience would be like. |||| We found the property to be roomy, clean and despite Covid 19 protocol, accessible to the many amenities of the Teton Club. The Hot Tubs were available by reservations ensuring that there would not be overcrowding and then time to sanitize. The same held true to the gym facility which my oldest daughter and I used multiple times. ||||The Teton Club was right beside the Bridger Gondola which we used 3 evenings for "Happy Hour" visits on top of the Jackson Hole sky area. There were ample tables and beverage options (adult or otherwise) available for purchase. The gondola ride is free after 5 PM. |||| Being first time travelers to the area, we relied heavily on Tim DiLeo with LastHoorah! Resort Destinations for options for our family of 5. With an active crew including our 12,13,and 16 year old, Tim sent us recommendations from everything from dining, tours, hiking adventures including the website link for easy research. ||||We enjoyed a different adventure every day and split our time between dining in at the spacious Teton Club room leveraging the many takeout options and taking advantage of the outdoor seating at trendy places in Jackson. We even had a bagel adventure biking on the kid friendly bike routes to Wilson. ||||Our family had an excellent time. We loved the property and were grateful for the extra care given by Tim at Last Hoorah. With all the "sheltering" our family had done, the views and weather of Jackson and the Teton Village were exactly what our...
Read moreWe stayed in a 3-bedroom unit facing the mountain the last week of July 2021. We were told the following, “A new development, the Hoback Club, adjacent to the Teton Club has begun construction. The proximity to our building may result in additional traffic and noise between the hours of 8am and 6pm.” What this statement fails to convey is how loud the construction noise would be. Management told us that the site could operate 24/7 but the noisiest time would be between 8:00 and 6:00. They did not work past 6:00 while we were there. The noise level was unbelievable, you will not be able to sit out on the balcony. It rained several afternoons we were there and enjoying much of anything in our room was marred by the ongoing construction, not exactly why you pay a premium for a nice vacation destination. I took videos while we were there but I can't post them on this review site. The only day it was quiet was Sunday. As you can see, the entire view is primarily of a large construction site, backhoes, large dump trucks, generators, cranes and so on. The management is largely unresponsive. You will also pay the same price as someone staying on the opposite side of the building away from the noise. The remainder of the facility was as pictured, but the failure to convey just how bad the noise level was, how much of the view would be of an ugly construction site and the complete lack of response from management was extremely disappointing. If you already have reservations at this facility don’t go unless you can be on the opposite side of the building. The construction is expected to continue for several years, so if you don’t have a reservation and are exploring your options, look...
