The Truth about Davids Burger!

As a parent you want your children to be happy work hard and learn to deal with whatever comes your way with self control and dignity. About three months ago my son was looking for a new job ,he had been working at McDonald’s. I told him to start looking and that he couldn’t quit until he had another job lined up! He put in applications all over the place and never heard anything back. He’s a high school student so it’s not surprising! We ate out one night at David’s Drive through and heard that they were hiring. My son talked to the manager through the window and had an interview a few days later. We thought this was an answered prayer boy were we wrong! Davids burger is know for its friendly attitude and Christian stance. We were very excited but, that all changed on the second day. My happy go lucky son came home and said he made a huge mistake and should have stayed at McDonalds. He said David’s staff were on him complaining from the moment he entered the door. He wasn’t loud enough saying Welcome to David’s, wasn’t smiling enough while putting burgers together. Even though his station faced the wall and the customers were to his back. Now we all know resultants want to serve people fast and keep them happy! Like the extra fries served upon sitting down at David’s! We quickly learned that David’s was not what it appeared to be all those times we had eaten there! It is all about APPEARANCE! They don’t want staff to get to know or even have a conversation with each other even when washing dishes or cleaning walls. It’s all about giving the appearance of a friendly happy dinner! The college students and high school students are micromanaged and held to an impossible standard. You will be lectured if you add one to many pickles or don’t scrape a container to there likings. If you are learning a position don’t be surprised if the Corporate Management (Logan) walks behind you and makes noises implying you are special. And that’s only the start this same person makes derogatory remarks about you while you are working to all the other employees belittling and calling you names encouraging the others to laugh and join in on the bashing! Today my son came home to tell us Logan came up with a meme to belittle my son with and walked around to other staff while they laughed and stared at him. My son has seen Logan pick on another kid that works at David’s with special needs rolling his eyes and grunting behind him. Logan is part of their Corporate!!! He is probably 20 yrs old and put in a position of power that he hasn’t truly earned! This Corporate manager needs a dose of humility and class! I am so sad that another Christian organization is a fake! With the world we are living in today Christians should do better and not be by appearance only! We left messages with HR and are waiting to hear from them! We are disgusted with the actions of the David’s Crew in Conway AR. Next to Sams club. We are putting this out bc we don’t believe any action will be taken against this Manager. (Logan) and hoping to let others know that this is not as it appears talk to your kids if...

We usually love David's but this was the worst experience ever at a David's. Restraunt was dirty and service was horrible. There were 8 employees who were sitting in booths in the back. We assumed on break or waiting to clock in. They were playing amd messing with the one girl was was working. The majority of the time she was visiting and flirting with them. at one point one employee was running through the restraunt. One girl was working the register, 3 were cooking and one working in tbe dining room. We waited around 20 to 30 minutes for our food. There were only around 5 tables of people in the restraunt. We were never offered fries. We asked twice and finally got extra after we got our food. We were asked if we wanted ice cream while still eating We said we wanted some but not till after eating. They asked again if we wanted ice cream later and we said yes and they never brought any. We waited about 5 more minutes and asked again and they brought it. There were no managers visible in the restraunt untill we were leaving and a few more employees were coming in. We were not greeted when we arrived. My husband's burger did not have pickles on it. The onions on my hamburger steak were barely cooked at all and it had very few onions or mushrooms on it. The food was hot and fresh when it came out but due to the service and how dirty the restraunt was we will not go back to...

What a wonderful experience! My boyfriend and I were greeted at the door with a big hello and pleasant small talk by Micayla. Then she happily took our name and order with the biggest smile! After we sat down we was greeted by Michael with a smile, who asked if we had ever eaten there. I had not. He proceeded to explain how they made their fresh cut fries and how this was a family owned and operated business. He then pointed to the pictures on the wall telling us who was in them. Avery stopped by our table as well and offered to refill our drinks. She also told us how wonderful the ice cream was and offered to get us samples. The people who work at this restaurant (Amity Road in Conway, AR) are so welcoming and knowledgeable about the backstory. This is my new favorite burger joint. 😊 Did I mention the decor is fantastic! Red booths and retro table and chairs. My favorite part was the Coca-Cola Tiffany style hanging lamps over each booth along the walls. The music playing takes you back in time to the good ole days. If your looking for a great steak burger that's juicy and full of flavor with a soft bun and fresh cut fries then stop by David's Burgers in Conway!!
