Went here for the 1st time on Wednesday April 2nd 2025 with my Mom and Aunt. We were here for a much needed dinner, and wanted to try another place that we never been before. This restaurant is located in the town of conway, on the same street where a few doors down there is an ice cream shop. Parking can be tricky, i'm sure especially if it is busy, but we found a spot easily. We walked in, and was seated by a host. We were seated at a high top in the front area. It is a pretty restaurant with games in the front, a pretty cherry blossom tree, and more! They have quite a beer selection, and they have my favorite southern food! Hush Puppies! Also they have Happy hour items like $3 titos, only until 7:00PM though. Our server greeted us right away and started us with 3 waters. My Mom and I ordered a titos with sprite. To booth, Waitress was friendly, and was also from NY, and we bonded over that, which is cool. Anyways, for appetizer, we started out with the Hush Puppies! Menu wise, this place has a lot of sandwiches. First was looking at the Always summer sandwich with chicken and avacado. I decided to go with their almost philly with fries. My mom got the always summer sandwich no blackend chicken with house salad with balasmic, and my Aunt got the always summer sandwich with a caesar salad. We got our food in a reasonable time frame. Loved the hush puppies app as they weren't greasy at all and really good! I enjoyed my philly sandwich, it was different- although had a sandwich like that at another restaurant and thought it tasted better. I still ate it all and enjoyed it! My mom and aunt liked their food too. Our waitress did a good job checking on us and taking care of us, plus refilling our drinks. We paid our bill with a credit card and left a cash tip. Would definitely...
Read moreWe went on Friday around 5:30ish. We left our phone number due to 35min wait - understandable. We went to Whitakers for a quick drink while we waited. Honestly we would have eaten there but the people we were with wanted to go to Hop N Wich. We go back when we received our text and saw the woman at the podium, she the did not look presentable enough to be the greeter at a restaurant. She looked disheveled and had an attitude. She asked if a hightop was ok and we asked if there was a lower table- her response was a very rude and dismissive- she just said No. We naturally said ok and went to our table. We were greeted by Matthew our waiter- he had a welcoming smile and an awesome upbeat attitude. We ordered drinks and looked over the menu. We ordered 2 pierogie appetizers and our meals. The waiter had to come over several times and apologize for kitchen being backed up- I get it ya'll were busy...but about and hour plus for 2 pierogie appetizers is ridiculous. The pierogies looked like they were boiled...no browning on them or anything...maybe a dew onions but wr were starving so we ate them. I told Matthew if it was not for him being great I would have said forget the food we are leaving. A while later he came out again and said my meal was not ready yet but the others were- I told him it was ok to bring the others their food. When the food was finally coming out, mine was actually with it. My food was good and only 1 out of 3 liked the meatloaf and their potatoes tasted weird. Needless to say I will not be back even if the people I am with want to eat there. Give Matthew a raise and out him at the door to greet and seat...his vibe is the one you want people to be greeted with when they enter your establishment. Matthew- You rock! (The 5 stars for service is...
Read moreTook some friends here that were from out of town and what an impression it made for the town of Conway. We went around 5:30 and it was fairly busy but we were sat right away (party of four). The atmosphere was great, energetic and positive. Staff was everywhere with friendly faces and very polite. We started off with a fewappetizers, buffalo chicken dip, nachos and pirogies. They were all delicious! Chips were crunchy and the dip was full of chicken, hot and a bit of spice, the nachos were loaded with toppings and the blackened chicken was delicious. The pirogies were excellent but they are bite sized (10 to an order). Our main courses consisted of Third and Laurel (large bowl of mac n cheese with shaved steak, peppers, onions and house made cheese sauce) the Philly cheese steak sandwich, traditional wings, and two orders of boneless wings (spicy Asian and atomic). All the dishes were fantastic with the Third and Laurel being described as the best Mac n cheese dish he’s had. The boneless wings are decent sized and not over breaded. The atomic sauce was great but did not have a lot of heat. The Spicy Asian is more of a thick teriyaki sauce with some heat. Both were excellent and the chicken wasn’t dry at all. Our server Jess was on the ball and very polite. Great representative of the restaurant. Even with a full house we didn’t have to talk loud to hear one another or over other tables. I will definitely be back to try some of the delicious looking sandwiches and appetizers on the menu. If your local and need to take an out of towner to a local spot, look no further!...
