Summation: poor service, and unprofessional staff. Would give zero stars if possible. Time: 15:45, 8/24/22. So haven't been to Starbucks in years (before the pandemic) and based on this experience, won't go in again until after the next pandemic.
The place is being renovated, so no menu boards up. Asked the server for a list: none available. Server (or maybe the shift manager; both employees are U20s, so difficult to distinguish) responds "we have lots of things", "Haven't you been to Starbucks before". No (see above)! Well apparently we are supposed to know the menu, even though the employees don't. Server/manager says "haven't you got the app?" Well of course not, just popping in coz we felt like a change.
Shops are supposed to do what it takes to sell their wares, aren't they? Wouldn't you think that they would at least have a flat screen up, or a white board in the mean time then? (We noticed they had a zodiac sign vs. type of coffee chalk board on the way out).
So, then the server/manager is offish to get rid of us, we leave, and then they continue a disparaging conversation about us to the next U20s customers (As a professor I have acute hearing!)

I asked for a Nitro cold brew with sweet cream and the barista asked what size I wanted, I said the largest so she made me a trenta. It was not a Nitro cold brew it was in fact a vanilla cold brew with sweet cream, which is way sweeter than a nitro cold brew. I had to ask what the drink was, there was no explanation when I placed my order that the drink would be substituted for something other than a nitro cold brew with sweet cream. They forgot my husbands drink so they served 3 other people who came in after us. There was no apology or customer service, there were two younger female baristas working.    Read moreLet me start off with that the cashier/barista, Andrea was very nice. She had a great attitude and was very friendly. The one star rating is because I asked for 2 slices of banana bread and they only had 1. the oven was down so they couldn't warm up my bread. Then apparently they don't have an updated espresso machine so they can't make the blonde vanilla latte I get at every other Starbucks. Then she couldn't scan my regular card on the Starbucks app because they are they only accept gift cards. Again, it wasn't her fault, but it was just a very poor experience for me and I won't be returning...
