I had an extremely bad experience at Copperas Cove Popeyes. I approched the drive through at 945 pm. It took almost 10 minutes for the cashier to take my order which was a 3 piece with a mash potato and red beans and rice. I also added a strawberry cream pie and smokey Chipotle sauce. When I got to the window and paid I was not presented an receipt. After 5 minutes I was told to pull forward into the parking lot and they would bring my order out to me. I called my sister while I was waiting. After 10 minutes the same cashier walked my food out. When I looked in the bag it was not my food that I ordered. Instead of a 3 piece it was a chicken burger. I let her know that was the wrong order. She took the the bag and walked back into the restaurant. After an additional 12 minutes I was still waiting. I drove around to the drive through where I saw the same cashier along with another cashier on their phones. I asked for a refund when another worker comes to the front of the window to ask me what the problem was. As I explain to her she starts talking over me and says "So she just punched in the wrong order and you still pay for it". I explained again that I ordered a 3 piece when the first cashier cuts me off and says "No you didn't you ordered a number 3". I said no I ordered a 3 piece." She then proceeds to say that I didn't think it was a good idea to look at my receipt. I tell her I never got a receipt as I was asked to pull forward. She then says So you didn't answer yes to bacon and cheese. I then ask for a manager in which she stated she is the manager. I let he t know I just worked a 16 hour shift. I do not eat pork I would never ask for bacon. The only questionI was asked was if I wanted spicy or classic.. I just want a refund. At this point she gets louder and starts clapping in my face. I am not understanding what she's not comprehending at this point or why is she even getting upset. Just refund me so I can leave. I felt as if she wanted me to match her level of professionalism which I did not. I remained calm and again just asked for a refund. She started mumbling something and shut the window. Another worker a man told her and "You need to stop". After the transaction was canceled I drove off even though she did have an opportunity to apologize.
I work in Corrections but I also was a buisness owner. Each customer should be treated with a level of respect. There was absolutely no reason I should of had to wait that long or be treated the way I did based on a mistake from your employer. It was my worse fast food experience in my life. Read moreVery upsetting service. Not only did the drive thru take forever to even take my order and I had to ask, "excuse me? Did you hear my order?" To which the reply after 60 seconds was "what's your drink?", But the deal they promote the most (the $5 box) was "sold out" (?) At 6pm on a Friday night... When we finally got the window to get our order (after 10 minutes and there was only one other car) the guy handed me the bag and shut the window. I waited, thinking he was coming back any second to hand me my drink, but he didn't even acknowledging me still sitting there. I had to say excuse me multiple times before he opened the window. I asked for my drinks and was asked what I got. Seriously? Then I asked if the sauce I asked for was in the bag (because I saw it sitting next the cups and I was the only one in the drive thru). He huffed and grabbed the ones off the counter (without even asking what type because I'm assuming he knew) On top of all of this, we got home and the food wasn't even what I had ordered. Normally I would call the store, but it seemed like a genuine waste of my time because I really don't think I'll go back for a very long time. This was ridiculous customer service. Ridiculous planning, if they had in fact run out and something as simple as chicken that goes with oh I don't know, every other meal on the menu? And just a huge mess. This place just opened recently and my kids have been asking to go since they got excited seeing it built here. If I could give zero or negative stars I would. Read moreLittle over a week ago, I waited in the drive thru for about 35-45 minutes for my order.....ending up getting the wrong gallon of tea and food wasn’t adequate/correct (supposed to be sweetened but it unsweetened/wanted dark meat thighs but got two wings 😂)
.....I was bothered by the night considering the wait in drive thru, wrong food, and the teas. So I called the store right after I pulled out of the parking lot (no one answers of course) because the employee literally handed me the food and stormed off before I give my complaint....

I ordered literally 4 items at Popeyes via DoorDash.....used DoorDash because of my experience just a few weeks ago....man did I feel bad.
Popeyes literally kept telling my delivery Dasher the wait time is this, wait time this, and wait time is that.....exactly 1hr has passed.....Popeyes employee alerts the Dasher...”we’re working on order right now”
WHAT IN THE FLYING HELL WERE YOU GUYS WORKING ON FOR AN HOUR....Drive Thru workers knew the Dasher was being impatient after being asked to pull around to wait for the order.....but still gave him bogus time estimates......
So since Popeyes could never be contacted on this matter. DoorDash being the awesome company that they are gave me credits for my next order.
Popeyes in COPPERAS COVE, TEXAS ....you should be ashamed...
