Dear Big Mike and Staff I recently ordered your specialty order Sugar Free Blueberry Pie with Monk Fruit🙏🏻 for my small gathering this past Sunday. I came for pickup on Saturday as I was not sure of your hours on Sunday. I figured Sunday may be a day that you may gather with your own family. This particular special order Sugar Free Blueberry Pie has been shared at 2 previous gatherings my brother’s birthday and my own this past year for my 40th birthday. I was gathering with 3 friends for this 3rd occasion with my 2 friends that had recently changed their whole lifestyle change for health. I thought it was most fitting for me as this was my first time going to their home. The occasion was a success and they loved 💞your specialty Sugar Free Blueberry Pie with Monk Fruit at first bite. I was describing how the crust hugs you with the taste of butter cookies from like when you were growing up as a kid when ingredients were fresh and not factory warehouse made. You can tell that each of your muffins, pies, cupcakes and cakes are made from the heart. As I was so impressed the 2 previous times in this 3rd occasion you have now gained 2 more guests as they immediately googled your website searched previous reviews and past experiences. My guests especially loved your attention to detail in choosing the best ingredients and they love the gluten free and vegan options. I love as well as my guests how you bake something Sugar Free that does not have that artificial aftertaste. As a celiac, finding a safe place for me to eat means the world. I travelled from Texas! I ate a breakfast sandwich in the restaurant and got two meals to go. I spent over $100 on this. When I got to my hotel, the to go orders were wrong! I have lactose intolerance and the omelette was made with regular cheese. I asked for no tomato’s as I can’t stand them, especially getting a Togo burger… by the time I got back, the bun was soaked in tomato. I paid for vegan cheese but there wasn’t ANY cheese whatsoever. I had to throw away $40 worth of food. I was so excited to grab another sandwich on the way home a few days later. They charged me extra to switch from cheese to vegan cheese this time and it was completely missing. I called to ask about a refund and he said “let me talk to Mike. Have a good day” and hung up on me…… over $100 completely down the drain. There’s so much potential as the breakfast sandwich is absolutely incredible. Being celiac, I was so excited to find a safe and delicious place to eat. While I wasn’t glutened, I feel like I wasted so much money and no one will help me with this. 😭😭😭 i still 100 percent recommend coming to this restaurant!!!!! But, I wouldn’t get a Togo order. I have a lot to say because when it comes to Big Mikes Gluten free you can never really say enough. I constantly promote wellness as I’m a wellness coach I can, will, and have referred everyone to Big Mikes whether you have to avoid gluten, sugar, dairy, harmful dyes, nuts, meat etc. Fortunately, I do not have celiac or any allergies but I’ve met countless people that do and have finally been able to enjoy delicious foods without worrying about ending up in the hospital or at a Dr. Office. I’ve met so many other customers in passing some even traveling from other countries just to get a taste, and of course to meet Big Mike himself. His vibrant and caring personality certainly matches the business, which I can honestly say is a pillar to the community. When I bring the donuts and muffins to work they’re gone in a few minutes lol. Some of my favorites are the sugar free gluten free dairy free cupcakes, the all day energy muffins, the perfectly seasoned slow roasted salmon, and the gluten free Chicken Parmesan, and believe it or not even the grilled cheese! I almost forgot the pineapple upside down cake will melt in your mouth ! I look forward to trying everything on the menu. I’m desperately anticipating the transition to a full restaurant, hopefully later hours, and delivery as well!
