Vito's Gourmet Pizza — Restaurant in Coral Springs

First time here. Walked in and the delicious aroma of pizza baking hit my nose and i was hooked. Lol 😂 Small place, very few tables inside and out. If you are a group of more than 6, you will not have comfortable seating. Service was good catering to our every need. Serve yourself soda dispensers with free refills. My son loves free refills. The menu has lots of choices of pizzas, entrees, subs and salads. There are also lots of toppings to choose from and a few different types of the pizza itself. Ordered specialty pizza with chicken, mushrooms and pesto toppings. It was absolutely delish. Served with marinara sauce on the side. Dunno why sauce was not on the pizza in baking, but all their specialty pizzas are prepared that way. Never had a white pizza before, but it was so good that sauce was not needed. Of course, you can pour the sauce on top yourself which gets messy, or dip your slice with each bite which is too much work for me. Also had the garbage stromboli which is like a calzone with several meats. Very cheesy, baked to a golden brown and also delish. Ordered a chefs salad which was big enough for 3 of us to share. Plenty of cold cuts, cukes and shredded american and mozarella cheese. It was really good. You can also order pizza by the slice. My family had a great experience. My only complaint was that it was overpriced, especially for the specialty pizzas. But it was so good that i was willing to overlook that. Will return again. They also have free...

First off. The food was good. It was fresh hot and tasty. But the service was lackluster. First the person who took the order was very impatient with my girlfriend.

Then once I arrived I tried using my Card on my phone as I left my other cards at home by accident.

The card for some reason was not working at first so I realized I had cash in my pocket but all 100s.

Now when I presented the 100 he didn't say we don't take large bills or that we don't accept 100s. He said he had no Change.

Which insulted my intelligence clearly. As if my bill was 47 and some change me giving him a 100 would have not required that much change.

He basically was telling me he did not have two 20s one 10 and 2 ones to give me.

Instead of just saying he didn't trust the 100 from me for some reason.

If it was not for my girl being hungry I would have just left the order.

But I finally figured out the card situation and it finally went through which I still don't know why it wasn't going through I didn't get a fraud email.

But I felt like there was no policy on taking big bills and he singled me out for some reason to not take the hundred as if my money wasn't good enough or Real lol.

What a way to discriminate. Great food....

Previously had pretty good experiences with this location; unfortunately most recently, I ordered my family a pizza from this location via their online portal. We selected a “Gourmet Pizza” adding additional toppings, spending a pretty penny for a pizza. Ready to fully enjoy. Came home to find there was NO Marina Sauce on the pizza. When I called and spoke with a manager they explained that their gourmet pizzas, the sauce comes on the side...... However, I did not see on the Desktop website that it mentioned the pizza not having sauce or that it comes on the side, nor was I provided the marina sauce on “the side”. The manager offered me a 50% discount for next order as an amends, and told me that I could come get the sauce. Fifty percent for next order does not even add up to the inconvenience and disappointment. Also, it’s an assumption that I will be placing an order with them again in the future. Super disappointed. Yes we are in a pandemic and we are all going through it. However, we as people are now having to find pleasures in the simple things. This being one. A complete stressful let down.
