Not at all impressed. Went in to grab a quick to go order. That was a mistake, as there was nothing quick about it. The bartender didn't spend a lot of time behind the bar. We ordered a burrito and a salad to keep things simple, should be fast right? Wrong. While we're sitting at the bar (we've already put in our order) a lady comes and sits down orders a drink and an appetizer. No big deal. Well, she ends up with her food while we are still waiting, still no big deal. Enough time passes however and we ask if our order is almost ready. Bar checked the computer and said it should be out soon. When the food did finally arrive the salad already had dressing all over it and looked wilted. So, it was definitely soggy by the time I got it home. The chicken was rubbery and tasted burnt, strawberries were squishy and old, honestly I threw it away after two bites. I should have just set a 10 and 3 dollar bills on fire. The burrito was small and very plain. The meat was super salty and unimpressive. The best part of the whole meal, was the rice and beans. Also, I believe a floor server stepped up and took care of us because of the bartenders absence. It wasn't even that busy. We won't be going back.

I do not recommend this restaurant. Everyone got their food except for me. By the time the waiter came to check on us, everyone was nearly done with their meal. My food never came out. The waiter was nice and apologized, but "I'm sorry" doesn't fill my belly. I asked to just cancel my order because by the time my food would be ready, our table would be done eating and ready to go. The manager did offer to make it as a "to go" order, but i can't justify paying such a high price for cold soggy fried shrimp tacos. When I got the bill, i was still charged for the order i never received. I had to ask 2 employees to fix the bill to reflect the food that we actually got. They seemed more concerned on making me take the cold order to go , asking me multiple times, instead of just fixing the bill. Such a disappointment. Do better.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at On the Border in Corpus Christi, and I was very impressed with the food and service. I ordered the chicken tortilla soup, which was excellent. The soup was rich and flavorful, and the chicken was cooked perfectly. My boyfriend got the tacos and cheese quesadilla, and he really liked both. The tacos were filled with fresh ingredients, and the quesadilla was crispy and cheesy. We also tried the Liberita Margarita, which was delicious. The margarita was made with layers of strawberry puree, lime 'rita, and blue curacao, and it was the perfect combination of sweet and tart. The service at On the Border was also excellent. Our waiter was friendly and attentive, and he made sure that we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back to On the Border soon!

I just had to leave my mother’s birthday lunch because of how absolutely ridiculously upsetting it was. I could not believe how rude the bartender/server was. Every interaction we had with her was terrible. I asked for champagne, rose, or white wine of which I was told no to all. Then I pointed at the Pinot Grigio on the menu and she said maybe, but it’s not cold. I got water. She was the only one working the bar area, so she was understandably busy but, it got worse…drinks sat empty and she didn’t return to take refill orders even after my mom, who is 66 and slow af, went and returned from the restroom. We sat there for a few more minutes and she never came by, so my mom went up to the bar to order. There was no one at the bar top and it seemed to be opportune timing. I waited tables for ten years, that was incredibly kind to do considering most just wave their hands or yell for service. The bartender then scolded her for coming to the bar and asked why she didn’t just wait at the table. I’m sorry but what?! My mom apologized and said she thought she was helping. To which she responded, it doesn’t. The bartender had zero interest in assisting or discussing what margarita options there were with her, kept her back to her the entire time, and treated her like a complete inconvenience. Needless to say we will not return. If you can’t have more staff, at least get better staff. Unacceptable and...

My husband, pup, and I dined on their patio on Tuesday, December 27th. We had planned to go to Chuy's (one of our favorites), but their patio was closed and we wanted to dine outside with our dog. It was pretty cold that day, and our waitress made it known she was not thrilled with us being outside, but we appreciated the option. Our drinks and chips/salsa were brought out very quickly. Some of the chips were nice and crisp, but about half the basket was drenched in oil and inedible. The salsa was good - too spicy for my husband, but just right for me. We ordered the queso with salsa verde and it was gross - grainy and just not a pleasant flavor. However, our fajitas were quite good. My husband opted for the lunch portion of the chicken fajitas, while I opted for the steak/chicken/shrimp combo. While the meats, especially the steak, were cooked well and were flavorful, I was very disappointed in the chimichurri sauce as it was clearly bottled and not made from scratch. It had more of a salad dressing consistency than anything and tasted packed full of preservatives, so definitely not the fresh, flavorful sauce I had envisioned when I saw that was one of their sauce options. Overall, we did enjoy our entrees and were grateful for outdoor dining, but I am sure there are far better Tex Mex and authentic Mexican options...

I just had to tell everyone what kind of experience I had. My family frequents this restaurant at least 1-2 times per month. Usually the food is good and the service is ok or good. Today was a real treat! Leslie is by far the best waitress that we have had the pleasure to serve us in a very long time. Our food was delivered timely. It was nice, fresh and hot. Our drinks were never empty, and we never had to ask for refills. Leslie had a smile and a great attitude every time she came over to our table. I spoke with the manager on duty, Ramsey. I told him how great the service was and that Leslie deserved a raise. He said he would speak to his boss about it. We will be back, and next time, we will be inquiring if Leslie has received her well-deserved raise. Times are hard, and the cost of living is so high. We need to pay the people in customers much more than minimum wage. Especially the ones who do their job well. I don't often post, and I rarely ever ask for a manager when I go anywhere. I do believe great employees should be recognized for their skills, and the ones who shine should be lifted up. May God bless you, Leslie and Ramsey. I hope to see you both next time. Thank you for a really great experience. My family and I were really impressed, that includes 2 teenage boys... so that is...
