Hobby Lobby has always been one of my most favorite locations for arts and crafts, but this establishment really did their best that day to make sure I had such a great time shopping for my goods!
Organized and clean, they were safe with everything they performed and I felt confident in my ability to find something with help, if I couldnt find what I was looking for on my own. Their courtesy and manners were up to par, and on top of that, the stuff they sell is awesome! Good-quality sketchbooks to POP figurines, everything catches the eye, and gives me a warm-hearted feeling. That day my friend had purchased a sketchbook for me as a gift and I absolutely loved it!! Not only was a Sketchbook very good quality, but knowing the place and its reputation for the comfortable feeling I get when I walk into the store, this gift meant absolutely everything to me. Scents and smells also come into play with their various candles they sell, so I highly recommend this place for any home furnished goods. Seasonal wreaths and really impressive crafts already made, and kitsch you can use to create many things yourself. Such a truly amazing store. Finally, out of season but still holding a irreplaceable place in my heart, their Christmas sellings and sales. Every single time I come into the Hobby Lobby stores during Christmas, I melt into butter just reveling in the exquisite scents of the Christmas candles, on top of all the beautiful quality decor! I swear I could live there. Prop a bed in the corner for me, y'all!!

Read moreI tried to use the 40% off coupon on the REGULAR price of one yard of fabric. The clerk (Beth) refused. I requested she call the Store Manager to the counter. She called him on the phone and refused to tell him that a customer was requesting to speak with him. He (Jesse) sent a department manager (Letty) who came over and said I couldn't use the coupon because the fabric was on sale. I explained that I wasn't wanting the 40% off the sale price, I was wanting to use the coupon on the regular price as was stated on the coupon. Beth argued that she called the manager. I repeated that I want to speak to the manager and had to demand her to call him and ask him to come. I've never had this problem at the other Hobby Lobbys. Letty was very rude and walked off. The manager (Jesse) finally came and said the store manager was out for the day and he was co-manager. Jesse said this was his store manager's policy and refused to honor the coupon. I read the coupon to him and he very curtly replied, "I've read it." Jesse said the coupon can't be used on advertised sale merchandise. (Calicoes are always advertised!) No where does the coupon say it can't be used on advertised merchandise. The coupon states the 40% off is off the REGULAR price and can be used on one cut of fabric. Is this false advertisement, or a form of bait and switch! This Hobby Lobby is very rude and does not honor their coupon. I was not asking for the 40% off the sale price and explained that to them. Read moreI went into the CC, Texas store yesterday in hopes of finding some superhero print as well as some other fabric prints. I was pretty certain they wouldn’t have the superhero print (in all fairness it’s impossible to find it anywhere right now). When I looked around the fabric dept I couldn’t find the superhero so I asked the employee if she could tell me where they would keep it.(I rarely visit HL so I definitely needed some guidance)! She didn’t appear to be in a good mood and was a bit cold/rude when pointing to the area and mumbled “that’s all we have”. Not once did she even bother to make eye contact with me. It was almost as if I was an inconvenience and bothering her and she wanted me to leave her alone. I decided it was best to go put the fabric I did have back on the shelf and leave the store-buying nothing. Normally I would chalk it up to an employee having a bad day and nothing more but this is the second time I’ve asked an employee for help in that department only to be treated poorly. I’m not sure what’s going on in that department in this particular store but I hope this isn’t how everyone is treated. The employees in the other departments have been wonderful so I’m not sure what’s going on in the fabric department.
