This place is absolutely horrible. The “manager” who worked drive through was so rude. I had my partner ask for salsa and ask if they had one that was extra spicy for me. He looks white but is Mexican just like me. The manager told him the salsa she gave was plenty spicy and just put that. Okay fine. Well she gave us the table salsa. The whole interaction was very dismissive and rude. When I called to ask her about the incident (as I was in the passenger side hearing this happen) and why she thought the table salsa was plenty spicy for someone who looked like a “gringo” she argued that she wasn’t being rude and she put other salsas in there. People make mistakes. I’m understanding of that. But she didn’t apologize for the mistake or how she spoke to my partner. She argued that I was wrong and didn’t know what I had in my to go bags. Just said “oh sure, my attitude” when I asked why she’s giving such an unpleasant attitude. Horrible, horrible customer service. And they have made several mistakes on our orders in the past, but we’ve never received attitude like that before which is what caused the review here. Why treat some customers who speak Spanish and look like me one way and treat your white customers a different way? Absolutely unprofessional and very questionable ethically. Just disappointing...
Read moreI’ve been coming to this location ever since I moved to Corpus, usually every Sunday before work, and the food has always been great. Unfortunately, my recent visit left me very disappointed.
When I pulled up to the drive-thru, I said, “Hi, good afternoon, I’m here for my pickup order.” All I was told was "Ok". After about 15–20 seconds of silence, I had to ask, “Do I drive up or…?” Finally, I was told, “Yeah, go ahead and drive up.”
Either give me my total or just tell me to drive up. Its just common courtesy.
As I drove forward, I overheard one of the employees say something in Spanish over the mic, “Pues ni que se quedara allí” in a dismissive way. I replied back in spanish too "Pues no dijo nada". When I got to the window, I asked the woman with the headset if it was her on the mic, and she denied it even though she was wearing it. Either she said it or overheard it. I just got my food and left, but the whole experience annoyed me.

Read moreWe arrived shortly before 930 PM and there was only two tables with customers with no more than eight people in restaurant. What surprised me, and kinda aggravated us, is that there was what looked like a manager and two other employees standing behind counter in front of restaurant. Only one waitress was busy, as it seemed she was covering entire establishment. I felt sorry for her because the other two were just standing around, and did nothing to help. As more customers started arriving, they actually pushed away from the counter, and handed customers their menus. It took 20 minutes to get our drinks, and not joking, 45 minutes to even get our food. I will think twice before recommending this location again. We have seen what used to be our favorite place to eat , turn to what is now my least favorite place to visit. Food has even changed, it's just not the place I remember visiting in the recent past.
