Honestly Burgerville is just no longer worth going to. All the seasonal stuff is frozen and/or prepackaged. “Fresh” is no longer a word in their vocabulary. The strawberry lemonade, strawberry lemonade ice cream sandwich and strawberry shake are all frozen foods or frozen based. Why even call them seasonal when the sheer fact that they’re frozen means there’s no risk of them perishing or being unavailable out of season? Strawberry lemonade is offered year round by restaurants everywhere, it isn’t even a seasonal flavor?
Wendy’s has fresher food at this point. The smart move is to just buy the spread and get Wendy’s or McDonalds burgers and put it on those. You’ll spend less and get a better experience overall, especially if you want a larger, reasonably priced, or more flavorful burger. I mean Burgerville’s “colossal” burger would only be satiating to a 13 year old girl.
The only good options they have anymore are the fried asparagus, hazelnut shake, and shoestring fries. That’s why I gave two stars instead of one. Even then, it’s a 50/50 as to whether your food comes out at a good temperature and your order is correct. At least now with DoorDash you can quickly check to see if they have anything worth going for if you’re really in the mood for it.
My family used to go all the time years ago, but the elimination of strawberry shortcake is really disappointing. The food in general has slowly gone downhill over time, and now with the steady elimination of the seasonal items that are actually worth going for, I can’t imagine we’ll be returning any time soon.
Burgerville used to be one of those places you looked forward to going to, now you just end up there because you want the fries, then cringe at the price of their meals (Knowing what you’ll be getting if you order it; Anyone in the mood for a single, floppy, warm, wilted leaf of green leaf lettuce?) so you just end up driving across the street to get actual...
Read moreThis was my (3rd) visit at this location in the last (6) months. I have been a Customer at other Burgerville locations-( Albany , Wilsonville, Tigard and greater Portland locations) Here at the Corvallis location, the line at Drive-Up was extremely long (just like last 2 times ) The Lobby was NOT open to Public ! The Drive-Up Service was very slow. Finally it was our turn to order ! Just (2) of us..We ordered (1) Cheeseburger w/ everything, a Large Onion Rings w/Ketchup, Halibut Fish (menu states it comes with Lemon & Tarter Sauce) and a Small size Strawberry Lemonade w/Ice. Must add there must have been at least 8-9 Vehicles behind us in line to order by the time we placed our order ! When we paid and received our order-My Friend was attempting to verify our order in the bag but the Employee at the Window said "Its all there !" To get us going ! We pulled away and found a place to pull to the side a few blocks ...inside our bag was (1) Little Cheeseburger. (2) orders of Onion Rings ???? (1) side of Halibut Fish in a bag with (3) little pieces of Flat Thin Tiny Fish...NO KETCHUP..NO LEMON..(1) TARTER SAUCE WE WERE CHARGED FOR AND NO NAPKINS !!!!!! My Friend's Burger was cold...We drove back and asked for our Money back. Here is the really sad thing...Lana-The Mgr .said they usually don't make mistakes like that ! Nothing else ! Wow !!! Burgerville has really, really changed. This Company lost (2) long standing Customers that day...
Read moreWe went to Burgerville specifically for national burger day for the $1.99 cheeseburgers. We knew that it would be busy (to be expected) but the level of chaos, disorganization, and rudeness was outrageous. We could see that the staff in the back was working tirelessly to get everything out as fast as possible but the front of counter staff (specifically Emily) was disrespectful and dysfunctional in facilitating orders between dine in, takeout, mobile orders, and delivery services. After waiting patiently for nearly an hour for dine in, I went to the front of the counter to ask for a refund so we could go elsewhere for dinner. Emily told me that she had an entire line of people she needed to take care of prior to me, regardless of being dine in or waiting an excessive amount of time. I made loud comment about waiting for so long and still having to wait longer to get a refund to which Emily responded with “Well other people have been waiting for over two hours”. I think that speaks to the poor planning, communications and execution on her end, which was not my problem. I completely understand how stressful working on such a busy day can be but there seems to be such a lack of preparation or set organization for what is known to be a very popular day. The food was good as normal and the young girl from the back was very kind and apologetic for the wait. Overall good experience, minus our...
