Summit Bar and Grill — Restaurant in Corvallis

I would review 0 stars if I could. This place is run horribly by a greedy man who is more interested in money than the welfare of his establishment. Although the people who he has employed as his minimum-wage "slaves" are nice and all, it's definitely not well-maintained. All of the fire exits are blocked off and there is only one entrance into the building which is usually crowded, the front bar is very small so there is only space for two people wide which is horrible in case of disaster. That place is a lawsuit waiting to happen. The crowds are huge, its impossible to navigate, and the drinks are mid. At least they can throw chicken nuggets in the fryer, lol. The only redeeming feature of this place might be the fact that you can get slightly sub-par food that only tastes good if you're 3 drinks in. Don't even get me started on a DJ they host there, Rob, is a nasty individual that takes advantage of drunk girls and is a thief that made news headlines. If you're a girl and you go there, good luck getting any policing inside. Their "bouncer" only sits outside checking IDs, and they don't even take...

This place should be investigated. They had multiple safety issues within a few hours. Safety issue 1: they were definitely over capacity. There were well over 100 people in there, and we were packed so tight that we had 3-5 people touching/bumping us no matter where we were in the bar or on the patio. Safety issue 2: people were breaking glasses A LOT and staff made no effort to clean it up, leaving people to dance on broken glass. Safety issue 3: they only have 1 way in and out of the entire establishment. This also makes getting in or out without an emergency extremely difficult. Safety issue 4: bouncers were pushing people out of the entrance that were trying to leave so they could get more people in. Literally grabbed one of the girls I was with and pushed her through the gate. She almost fell on the rocks they have outside. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS, IF GRIEVANCES ARE BROUGHT TO MANAGEMENT, THEY JUST BLAME YOU AND ACT LIKE PETULANT CHILDREN. Look at how they reply to reviews if you want to see...
