Extremely rude and hostile service. The server was not only judgemental regarding our order, but took back our last drink and kicked us out without refunding the drink that we paid for. When asked what strong drinks on the menu she would recommend, she said that we shouldn't drink based on the alcohol content. She works at a bar where they serve strong cocktails and she wants us to be sober? She shouldn't work at a bar if she is going to be rude and hostile to customers asking for strong drink recommendations. After checking our friend's ID multiple times, she proceeded to serve us all drinks. We had 4 drinks total between the 3 of us in an hour. However, when we ordered our last drink, she freaked out, accused our friend of having a fake ID, took her drink away and kicked us out without a refund. First of all, they checked her state issued ID at least 2 times. If they believed that the ID was fake, they should have never served us drinks in the first place. However, she only took problem with my friend's ID after we had ordered 4 drinks already. Does that mean that she thought she was serving under aged person drinks this entire time? This makes no sense. If they were uncomfortable serving our friend, they should have COMMUNICATED that instead of throwing a tantrum, taking our drink that we haven't even touched and kicking us out. At the minimum, they should have refunded us the drink that we had paid for but they took away.

I have never been treated this poorly at any restaurant. Not only did they steal our money (paid for a drink that was never served), but they clearly disliked us the moment...

The frites are worth coming for.... and we'll be back for those. Casual place with lots of beer, cider and wine options. It wasn't too busy and we were seated right away. My fiance had a Hazy IPA, they were out of all the Rosē options so I got the Beaujolais which came as a decent pour for the 8$ price. We started with the frites, get the andulaise sauce, and the meatballs (don't bother, they were dry). For our main course we got the Croque Monsieur w/paprika chips and the Portobello Mushroom Crepe with the lemon vinaigrette dressed greens. Both were good, the sandwich was huge and my fiancé ate every bite. I don't think I'll order that particular crepe again.... just kind of mehh, a touch of herbs would have been nice and to have the gryere all the way through and melted as it should have been would have made it much better. The Crepe itself had a nice texture so I'll likely try a different one if we return. Our server was nice, but didn't offer anything special or better than average service IMHO. When cashing us out, and it was apparent we were ready to leave, she took our card ran it and then made drinks for another table (needing assistance from the bartender, who probably should have taken over that) before returning with our card. Go...

Do not recommend for groups. My spouse and I have been to this place many times and we love it. The food is delicious and the atmosphere is comfortable. This is why my spouse chose it for their birthday dinner location. I called three days in advance to see if they could accommodate a large group (17) and ended up coming in to get an answer after some phone tag. This was all understandable, but did make planning a bit more difficult. The person that I talked to when I came in was actually great, they took care of everything and asked if we’d need space in the cooler for cake storage, etc., which we didn’t, but the offer was appreciated. When we arrived for my spouse’s celebration, we were told to order at the bar individually. Sure. The food was wonderful as usual. The main problem was that after we sat down and were told to order at the bar, we were basically ignored by servers. No one refilled water, cleared plates, asked us how we were, absolutely nothing. There was confusion every time food was brought out. There were multiple times that someone ordered a drink and it was forgotten about and they had to go back up and ask about it 15-20 minutes later. Honestly, I just expected way better. It was...

We literally stumbled on this place while in search of an evening meal on Saturday. Everywhere was packed in downtown Corvallis but we found a table here and wow - what a find. An extensive beer and cocktail menu, and a menu of Belgian food (both small and large plates) made for difficult choices. We shared beer croquettes and a warm Belgian salad (we added shredded chicken) which were both delicious and more than enough for the two of us. I seldom see a boulevardier on the cocktail menu but there it was! And my love had a light ale which he thoroughly enjoyed. Olivia was the perfect wait person - attentive even on a busy night. We are sorry we’ve never been here, but will certainly be back.

My boyfriend and I waited for almost 15 minutes to get seated. There weren’t many people but still no server came to greet us when we went in, and waited to get seated. A group of people left and told me that they waited for 25 minutes and no one came to serve them. While debating to leave, a server told us that she will get our table ready. Gladly, the food didn’t disappoint us. My very first try for brussels sprouts was amazing! I came here because my friends recommended me that brussels sprouts are really good here! I also love the soup and the baguette! however the ham sandwich was very salty and wouldn’t recommend it! paprika chips are delicious!

Once again Corvallis has a Belgian food experience! This place is spot on with flavors from one of the owners grandmother's authentic Belgian cookbook, to interpretive flavors from their expert chef's creations who has impressive culinary taste!! While living up to their name they have many books to read there, or trade for one of your favorites, and from my first glances it seemed like books that people would find interesting and not just a library dumping off their excess. Although I'll let you be the judge of their book content while you enjoy some awesome imports!
