Earlier today me and some friends were over at the mall of America and decided we wanted mcdonalds, the McDonald's in the mall is shut-down so we went to the nearest one. When we entered we found that they didn't have our favorite drink, HI-C orange lava burst, we started calling other stores to see if they too stopped carrying it. When we found that none by us had it we decided to just go to the Cottage Grove location since we all live in Cottage Grove. My friend suggested we call and see if they carry HI-C, I called and asked two very simple and quick questions. #1) do you guys carry HI-C orange lavaburst? The employees reply was no. #2) do you guys have the hot and spicy MCchicken? (I have always been a fan and I say that most stores had it back) the employees reply was, " I don't have time for this I'm gonna send the police to your house because we have caller ID. I then replied, "what are you talking about?". The employee replied, "I know you are one of those kids that keeps prank calling us". I then replied, "no, I'm not one of those kids" and hung up.    Read moreI had one of the worst experiences Iâve ever had at a McDonaldâs today at location. I placed and paid for an order through the McDonaldâs app, received my code, and went to the drive-thru. When I gave the employee my code, the manager, Ethan, stepped in and said there was a âglitchâ on their end and that the code wouldnât work. He told me to cancel the order, even though the money was already taken out of my account.
I explained that canceling wasnât an option for me because I donât have extra funds availableâI just needed the food I already paid for to feed my kids. Instead of helping, the manager became dismissive and told me the issue was my fault for using the deal provided on the app. When I asked again if there was anything he could do, he raised his voice, accused me of being âhot-headed,â and ultimately refused to serve me, telling me to leave the store.
This was humiliating, stressful, and completely unnecessary. I didnât ask for free foodâI paid for my meal and simply wanted what I purchased. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and customer service was unacceptable.
McDonaldâs corporate should really look into how customers are being treated at this location. No paying customer should ever be spoken to or dismissed...
   Read moreToday I went to this location @ 6:10pm, The place was packed with cars wrapped around the building, and plenty of customers waiting inside. I walk inside to a very busy staff. I did not have a small order, I orderd 40 chicken nuggets with fries and a drink (Not all for me). I went to fill up my soda and spotted Ben the Manager. Ben was very busy with making McCafe drinks and was delivering them to waiting customers who had to be pulled ahead. I smile and say hi, Ben reply with "Hi" and a smile. I get my food quick and was hot and fresh. As Im leaving I see a "Grumpy Old Man" walk in all upset, he screams for a manager and takes the two PERFECTLY Done drinks and throws them on the ground. This ENTITLED TRASH was making a scene like a 9 year old! Screaming at the top of his lungs for a manager! Your drinks were perfectly done and you come in here all mad! The people behind the McDonalds counter are good people trying very hard to get through a tough work day! YOU DO NOT get to treat them like that! They are human just like you, and deserve to be treated with RESPECT! 10/10 good McDonalds.....
