Covington Seafood Market & Bar-B-Que — Restaurant in Covington

I am in LOVE with the food here. However the Customer Service was the worst!! I order a fairly large order for my family over the phone, however when we got home I realized the left out my 10 shrimp that went with a 2pc combo. The bag was checked prior to my husband leaving but he had no idea what I order so he just okay everything. When I noticed the issue I look at the receipt and added everything up and we were CHARGED for that meal but it was missing shrimp. I then called and got no answer but was able to leave a VM. I call back to follow since no callback and was told by the Manager that leaving a VM was a waste of time and that this restuarant doesn't make those types of mistakes. Then added she don't know what to tell me... oh, did I add that she had a horrible TONE in her voice. Yeah, didi fix the issue. They just lost a customer. I am a business owner myself and good customer service...

My wife and I have been ordering seafood from this place, for over two years. We decided to call in our order, but the phone kept ringing so we decided to drive to the market. As soon as we went to order, the black lady asked if we have ever steamed trout from them before and we said yes. She also said she only take call in orders and we informed her that we tried to call in our order in first. The black lady rudely said "well i cant answer the phone..you see i have all these orders". It went down hill from their as the black lady yelled at my husband and I for almost 5 minutes straight. Telling us how they don't steam trout and she has never seen us before and she has been a manger their for 3 years. Long story short, this lady was extremely hostile and rude. We will never patronize this...

These people are the best! They are very knowledgeable on their products and they will even give you advice on how to cook it!! It's always fresh and clean in there

I want to make a change to my post for this company. They have changed ownership and I will not be doing business with them from now on. They have stopped selling the fresh fish that I wanted after they've insisted that they were going to be getting it in and now they have an attitude when I go in there and ask me what the difference is and it being fresh and frozen when the Frozen looks frostbit and doesn't even look like the fish that I am inquiring about. The guy has a snotty attitude and acts like I am inconveniencing him to ask. I HATE it bc I really liked that place they were so nice before and I loved the fish that...
