Ghost Kitchen Pizza — Restaurant in Covington

I just found out about this place, just this week. On a side side street, in an unassuming building, lies this little pizza place.

Walking in, the place is clean and welcoming. I was a little early, and the gentleman that came from the back, was very friendly. He explained the pizza was just going in the oven, and even offered me a water.

I got the food, brought it home. WHAT A TREAT! The crust is lite, with a nice chew. The sauce is fantastic, a little sweet but it has a little kick to it which I love! We had a cheese pizza, has a good amount of of cheese. We also got a 3 meat pizza, and everything is so flavorful! Toppings are plentiful, and you pair the meats and that sauce, just superb! (We got a 3 meat pizza with dbl pepperoni and bacon a few days later and added the pic...also tremendous!)

My wife had the pepperoni calzone, and the breading has a great flavor. The calaone was STUFFED, the cheese pull was fantastic.

I may have found my new spot. So nice to have a fresh new, non chain pizza so close by. We will...

Ghost Kitchen Pizza is legit. The pizza was as good as advertised. The ONLY issue I had was that in the special instructions when I ordered online I asked for no onions and wound up getting them anyway. That tells me one of two things. Either they didn't actually read the instructions OR they did and they are one of those places that doesn't allow substitutions or removals. Fortunately, unlike some other places they don't put a ton of onions on their pizza (you know the routine...put LOTS of the cheaper ingredients on to make it look better) so I was able to get around the fact that I got them.

Don't let this minor thing that I had happen deter you from ordering though. Like I said, the pizza is legit. The sauce is very tasty, not overly sweet and properly ratioed.

I will definitely be ordering from them again. My son is always looking for good pizza so I will be getting him one from there.

EDIT: Ownership/Management immediately addressed review and are providing refund and credit to give them another try. Very appreciative and kudos for the service. Looking forward to trying again. Have updated Service stars. Looking forward to updating Food stars once we have a chance to try again!

I would love to give Ghost Kitchen Pizza a 5 star review and I can definitely see how some would. The garlic bites were cooked well and tasted good. They were a little warmer than the pizza. Unfortunately our pizza sat in a DD drivers car for 25 minutes before she left her other delivery pick up location. Since this wasn’t a DD purchase but a purchase via the Ghost Kitchen website I have no remedy for my cold pizza experience. Additionally, it seems that the “Notes” section accessible when ordering isn’t paid any mind as the request wasn’t addressed nor were we notified we weren’t able to make the...
