Ronda is a truly a miracle worker!! I came across Mainstrasse Upholstery in a Google search, looking for a way to re-cover my old wicker porch furniture. I was a little dubious at first, but she had good reviews and her Covington location was convenient to my home... so I decided to give her a try. She is a one-woman show, working out of a large garage-turned-workshop, so you kind of have to call or text and leave a message, and wait for her to get back to you. But she proved to be a very reliable communicator, and was able to not only give me an estimate, but also guide me through exactly how much fabric to purchase - all through text exchange, with me just sending her pictures and measurements. I brought her all the cushions and fabric on our arranged date, and she had them finished and ready for pickup ahead of schedule. I couldn't believe they were the same cushions! She not only reupholstered them, but also changed out some of the foam, so they literally look brand new. Absolutely amazing!!! And she had a enough fabric leftover to make a couple of cute matching pillows. I was really blown away by her talent, and she was so awesome and easy to work with. Ronda did an amazing job repairing the upholstery on our antique dining chairs! The chairs hold a lot of sentimental value for me, since they were a wedding gift from my parents, who purchased them when they first got married almost 50 years ago. Ronda was able to fix their sagging seats (which were worn out after many decades of use) with a meticulous level of detail – they look better than I ever could have imagined! Not only that, but Ronda is an incredibly kind person and was a joy for us to work with. Her prices are very fair and reasonable, especially given the exceptional work she does. In fact, we received quotes from another local company that was 3X the cost, and I was far less confident with their ability to do the job with the same level of care and attention to detail as Ronda. Rhonda made my chair beautiful from what was a mess. Clearly an antique, I found it in an old warehouse 20 years ago. It had been well worn then but after 20 years the fabric was ripped and stuffing falling out. Four layers of fabric, batting, horsehair and muslin had to be removed just to get to the springs. Wood frame had to be strengthened, springs retied, webbing, then layers put back on and everything removed was filthy and disintegrating.
