Goebel Park — Attraction in Covington

My kids LOVE this park! They have a clock tower which plays music & chimes hourly. There's plenty of trees which provide shade though not over the play structure so the slides may get hot later in the day. There are picnic tables & a gazebo if you want to sit or gather people. They have paths to walk, run or walk your dog. They decorated the garbage cans like critters & provided enough of them to help keep the park nice. 4 ⭐ instead of 5 because of a few reasons(IMO): Currently there's only a port-a-potty to use if you gotta go. The puppets aren't functioning on the tower when it strikes a new hour (the bells do). The biggest problem for me is the homeless people; they're ALWAYS there in the morning. I'VE NEVER HAD AN ISSUE WITH ANYONE, it just feels weird to be watched...

We were trying to have a birthday party for my friend's son and kept getting interrupted by a homeless woman and her boyfriend asking us for Stuff from our party and continued to be loud and less than five feet away and kept interrupting our birthday party and trying to get in the middle of it. Asked for ice out of our cooler of drinks meant for the children at our party then grabbed a drink out of it and said " oh i can have this?" Our pizza arrived and no sooner than we got it to the table they were bugging us about it. Wouldn't have been so bad and we would have save more than happy to help out with some food if they hadn't interrupted a child's birthday party before the children had gotten eat plus they...

It's a really good park with a great area and playground for the kids easy to see where they are from one spot. It also has a paved circular drive that the kids can ride scooters or bikes or whatever and you can still see them the whole time. It's also close to some day good or restaurants is you need to grab food quickly with the kids. One thing to note though the pictures show goats and I saw other articles online that show goats, but the goats are no longer there. They farm that organized it removed the goats a few years ago, butay come back if someone sponsors it. The clock tower is also pretty interesting for the kids and rings out every hour...
