The food was decent, and probably great if you want authentic Mexican. I'm used to the more cheesy TexMex type of food. We had an $8 burrito, an $8 torta, and a glass bottle of Coke. Total was $21? Pre-tip. That was an expensive bottle of Coke!
When we walked in, the only available seats were covered in dirty dishes. The server cleared the table, but those dishes were just set next to piles more a little off to the side of the dining area. This is a very small place. Don't expect a large party to find seating together.

The food I received today was nothing like what I ordered, and the quality was disappointing. My taco looked like scraps rather than ground beef, and it tasted off.    Read moreYes, it's small. No, its not fancy. But oh man - The food is fantastic! I highly recommend the bistek (beefsteak) tacos. A little queso fresco, onion, cilantro, and some fresh lime juice - MUY DELICIOSO!!
Very authentic, and they even have some original family recipes. The staff is also wonderful, and knowing a little bit of Spanish goes a long way.
