I enjoy the sandwiches here along with the amazing staff, notable mentions would be Zach (the mgr.) & his co-worker. (Zach)

What I didn't appreciate was the AREA Manager Nicole and her Inappropriate/Unprofessional behavior during my visit on the evening of 12/12/23. She decided she wanted to assert her authority and charge me $3.03 for 1 extra slice of bacon, which she stated was policy. It wasn't the fact of her upholding what she considered policy, which in part was incorrect. It was the way she handled herself, and had the young man (Zach) remove the 1 slice from my sandwich. It was a very awkward experience, to say the least. Her managerial skills were not a good representation of the environment I've encountered at this location. She needs "Extensive Training" on how to deal with "Customers Appropriately." I even returned the next day (12/13/23) to give her an opportunity to apologize for her behavior and explained how it left me feeling like she didn't value my business. Her apology came across smug, disingenuine, and lack luster. Mind you the reason for my visit on 12/12/23, was for them to make right a previous wrong to an order me and my daughter placed on 12/6/23. I have met many staff and who I believe was the owner a couple of times during my visits to this location, and never left feeling the way I did that evening. I was terribly disappointed and it made me feel discouraged about continuing to give business to this location. I won't allow her to be the determining factor or give her that much power. But I hope to get resolve for her mishandling of me, and terrible customer...

On Saturday around 3:15 PM, my daughter and I walked into your Covington location and the experience we had was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. From the moment we entered, not a single employee greeted us—no “hello,” no “we’ll be right with you,” nothing. There was a guy doing prep work in the back and another man at the front counter who looked me straight in the eyes, then turned back around and continued working on online orders without acknowledging us at all. We stood there for several minutes, looking over the menu, fully expecting someone to offer help or at least a sign that we mattered as customers in the store. After we had both decided what we wanted, the same employee turned around again, looked at us again with the same blank expression, and then just went right back to preparing online orders—still no greeting, no “I’ll be with you in a moment,” nothing. At that point, my daughter and I had had enough. We walked out feeling completely ignored, unwelcome, and honestly disrespected. Jersey Mike's is a good option if ( like me ) you aren't into the fast food thing... Although the salads are decent enough these days ( have you TRIED the apple pecan salad - sans chicken is an improvement, really - at Wendys ?? ) but unless you step up to the level of, say Habit Burger?? fast food is just kind of the last resort. Like, for the weekend when you're broke & don't get paid until Monday... Hello, Taco Bell !! Hey, it's edible and cheap so it's all good. So I opted to pass up the usual Big Kahuna ( 86 the jalapenos please & replace with banana peppers - ahem, on the side! ) and went for the meatball sub. Extra cheese of course. ( worth the additional charge ). Word to the wise - or at least to anyone who prefers NOT using an entire roll of paper towels during their meal - ask for (literally) about half the amount of sauce they use. It's wayyy too much. So much that it cost them an entire star. Seriously. Punchline? If you're looking for an easily obtainable, not crazy expensive alternative to a somewhat greasy double bacon cheeseburger Jersey Mike's deserves to be on the short list.
