Just an FYI. Lucky star in Covington is giving themselves extra tips. So my husband ordered us food online and it asked him to pay in person. So I go in and pay for the order and the receipt they had me sign said the total was 116.93 plus tax plus tip plus service fee. That receipt they had me sign had a total of 145$ and some change. But the receipt they taped to the bag and gave me AFTERWARDS had the amount my husband was given online. Which is fraudulent. That receipt has a grand total of 116.93. And that includes tax service fee and tip. So beware they're pulling fast ones and printing off different receipts than what your actual total is and waiting until you sign the fraudulent receipt to give you the customer copy, making it appear as if you only paid the original, lower amount. And the lady at the counter was shady about it too trying to cover her tracks trying to show me the receipt and explain its so high cause they gave themselves a tip. When if you look at the original receipt it shows my husband already gave them a generous tip and paid the amount for the food tax and their service fee. So be careful and pay attention to your receipts and what they're charging you. This isn't the first time this has happened. So needless to say I won't be going back there again even though their food is great.
Also at the bottom of the receipt and online it asks you to pay in person, and the only reason they'd need to do that is so they can...
Read moreMy family and I decided to check this place out since we live nearby and we were craving some Chinese takeout. Sadly, we were very disappointed. We ordered the general toa’s, the chicken vegetables, and lastly, the almond chicken all three of these dishes come with rice, crab rangoon, an egg roll, or soup. We chose an egg roll, wonton soup, and crab rangoon. All dishes and side dishes were mediocre at best The only real highlight was the wonton soup and the crab Rangoon’s. The food was not exciting at all. There is no flavor, it is poorly seasoned, and just overall poorly executed. Suppose you're looking for a so-so place to eat for not that much money then go for it. but if you’re looking for a really good Chinese food spot, this is...
Read moreFirst time buying from this place and definitely would be my last . The food was just bland and it tasted like food they made that was just sitting on the side and they reheated it. Some of the food tasted really oily that it gave my kids diarrhea. We ended up not eating any of it because it just tasted nasty we threw it away it costed us $77 for it which I thought was super pricey because our local Chinese spot we always go to doesn’t even come close to that price range and their food is absolutely a hit all the time (we only went here because I was close by this place) never in my life have I ever thrown food away before . Some people just shouldn’t be selling food especially with...
