Just say no!
We have purchased from this location many times over the years. AVOID this location. Unfortunately, over the last 12 months or so, this location has deteriorated in service and experience. Most recently, we ordered 5 pizzas from this location. Despite the recent history of poor service and quality, I ordered to take advantage of the drive-thru window as I was not feeling well and did not want to get out of my vehicle. B IG MISTAKE. We had started ordering from another store due to the consistent inaccuracy of our orders for the preceding 12 months. The store had gotten so bad they had stopped completing the transactions so that we never got follow up surveys and were not able to voice our complaints and problems to them or whoever sees the survey. This time, however, I specifically asked for a receipt hoping it would insure I got a survey just in case there were any problems.
Out of the 5 pizzas only one was completely right. One! We ordered a thin crust garden fresh veggie which was accurate. We ordered another regular crust garden fresh veggie for my daughter who is maintaining a (relatively) vegan diet. The second one was supposed to be without cheese. Of course cheese was covering the pizza. Two more "half & half" pizzas were ordered. One was close but was seriously lacking in toppings and was cut extremely poorly so that one side of the pizza was twice the size, literally, of the other side. The narrow side contained the meats and only three of the four slices had meat on them. The next half & half was similar to the one I just described.
The fifth pizza was the absolute worst though. It was also a half & half. I ordered the pizza with a thin crust, no sauce, cheese (I may have transposed those options on the order though), half with green peppers and black olives and the other half with pineapple. The pizza came with just crust and veggies. No sauce. No cheese. Nothing but a burnt crust and dried up veggies. I can't believe nobody thought to check the accuracy of an dry pizza before putting it in the over.
I contacted corporate through the website completing the form provided and asking to be contacted. I also FINALLY, got a survey link from the restaurant. I competed the survey as well asking to be contacted. I later got two separate emails from Papa John's asking me how well they resolved the issues. The problem is - they NEVER contacted me (outside of wanting to know how they did - which was bad as they had done nothing). So, I responded to those surveys indicating I had still not been contacted.
I have other options for pizza. I am not sure what has happened to Papa Johns since the founder left but the customer service has seriously declined. There was a time when Papa John's would offer to replace the order within a few hours of notification of a problem. Now, I can't even get a response about a legitimate complaint. Read moreI am very disappointed in Papa Johns. For starters; I had ordered a large order last Saturday; to which NEVER ended up being delivered. My baby cousin was super upset and crying; she is 2 years old. Flash forward to Monday I called to speak to the manager who had SAID he would credit me + give me a full refund to which both NEVER even took place on his end. I live solely on disability and while I never wanna make this kind of issue about that; how can I not? I feel like I not only wasted money, but wasted my breath tonight as I tried to use said "credit" on my account but come to find out, no note or credit for the inconvenience of Saturday was ever posted on my account. I'm extremely let down by the rude customer service of this place of business and even more concerned for others being taken advantage of by this establishment. I hate to say it, but if someone who cares for this place of business doesn't do some rehiring processes; I have a feeling that this location and more to follow due to lack of customer service Papa Johns could end up being on the chopping block. Living on SSI and having no car to get anywhere; Papa Johns is at times completely convenient but no more; they will NEVER get my service again and I do however gather that this issue; among many may not even hurt them financially. But what about the ones struggling to make ends meet just trying to make a few kids happy for a pizza craving? What about their needs? The Papa Johns here in Covington, Ga seriously needs to do some re hiring for NICER people for the their customer service. Their service just sucks where I live and I'm highly HIGHLY disappointed to have such an establishment working and hiring people in my area. Give me a job there and fire all of the rude people and I can promise there will be no complaints. Honestly; I'm even HUGE ON APOLOGY and this location near me OWES ME AND MY FAMILY A HUGE ONE! One day; and there will come a day, where the hateful people who work at this location will have to answer for their rudeness bestowed upon their customers; until then I will not order from here. Furthermore; if you hate your job so badly; here's a thought......QUIT and let someone who has better customer service skills take your place! Shame on you at the 30014 location in Covington for the rude customer service and the lack of judgement on the Managers part for hiring such rude people to be the "face and voice" for your location! Take note Papa John's your doors will close and people across the US will stop ordering from you due to your lack of hiring processes by hiring just anyone off the street to work for you. You need to think twice hiring rude people for your establishment if you want to remain known as "the better pizza" place to order pizza; do yourself and your establishment a favor and hire NICER people! Read moreWorst customer service ever. I ordered a 10 in cheese stick with Two sauces. When I got the box it was the wrong order, it was cold and I only got one sauce. So before the driver left I told him it’s the wrong order and I showed him my online receipt. I called the store with the delivery driver standing in front of me. And I said politely sir the food is wrong and it’s also cold and I never got my extra sauce. And he offered me extra credit. So I said no thank you may you please send someone else with the correct order and he said okay. So I’m waiting 30 mins go by and so I call back and the manager is like who is this and what do you want. I said I’m sorry I just wanted to know if someone is bringing my correct order and he’s like we’re closed and I’m like yes I understand that but I placed my order before you guys closed and then he hung up on me. So I called back and I said sir I’m sorry but I was speaking and you hung up on me. And told me “stop calling here. You gave us your address and I will call the cops and tell them your harassing us. You have called multiple times stop calling we have caller Id” so I said sir I have Floridian number so if it’s from ga it’s not mine and in the midst of me asking for a refund. He hangs up the phone in my ears. So I call back and Everytime they picked up they would hang up. And the last time I called a lady answered and said “Chinese food “ so I’m like ma’am.
