Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Culver City

I’ve been coming to Chipotle for 20 yrs because I love the food and I love the value. I know Chipotles across the country well.

This is by far the worse ran Chipotle I’ve ever been too and it’s consistently. Good news is the food is always good which is why I keep coming and I’m on this side of town every Tue and Thu.

Last Tue…the shift lead or manager, not sure her position, I just know she tells everyone else what they can and can’t do. The bathroom had a line, the sanitizer machine was broken, I had purchased my food and wanted to wash my hands. One employee was getting a ramekin to get some of the sanitizer by the sink behind the counter to give to me to clean my hands. She told him not to do that. I explained to her I had hot food, the bathroom had a line, and the hand sanitizer machine for the guest was broken. She shrugged her shoulders and could care less. She didn’t say a word and just started at me. I asked her why I couldn’t have any of the hand sanitizer on a napkin or in a ramekin, and she just shrugged her shoulders and looked at me without talking again. I just turned away from her rather than deal with her and went and waited for the bathroom while my food got cold. No worries, I can bring my own hand sanitizer next time which is what I did.

Then I came last Thur, they’re out of forks. Ok, a spoon is fine. We can make it work.

Then today, Tue, they’re out of water cups. I asked if I could use a regular cup for water then, and they rudely said no. I left my hot food again to walk to my car, get a bottle of water, and walk back to my food sitting on the table.

Easy fix next time: I’ll have my own hand sanitizer, bring my own water, don’t talk or engage the mean and rude shift lead…and then I’ll enjoy my delicious and hot chipotle burrito bowl!

First would problems, I know. I’m grateful to have food, but after 3 bad experience on the service side, I’d figure I’d try to prep fellow diners for this very lack luster chipotle with tasty food and terrible customer service. Come peppered with water and ways to...

Beware on your orders: Had a bad experience on 02/27/2020 I ordered a chicken bowl to go and after few bites a big insect crawled out and it is so gross and ended up going back to the store. I spoke to a manager at the store and reported the situation so they can remove and hold the bad batch they are serving but while I am reporting it they still continue serving to about 5 to 6 people and did not panic about the situation and only tries to give me a refund & a gift card, I declined the gift card and just took my money back and advised the manager to create an incident report just in case there is an allergic reaction. After few hours of reporting it their corporate called me from Ohio only to ask if on how their manager handled the incident also when I mentioned about the bug all she said that their produce are coming straight from the farm to their stores and its normal to have those insects what kind of an answer is that coming from a corporate level. All I want is to give the public an alert about this store and maybe the rest of their restaurants and to be aware on what they order and eat. I hope that their corporate show more effort and teaching their staff the right and proper way to handle this situation and how to properly prepare their food...

This place is hit or miss. Don't order online to pickup here because they have no clue what is stock. Ordered one of their agua frescas and I went past the drink dispensers and saw them all empty. I got my order and mentioned it, the cashier couldn't be bothered and rushed me saying they were all out. Then someone seemingly the manager or the employee that kind of knew what they were doing barely acknowledged and I asked for a refund. She said I had to go online for that. I said there is no option to do that on the site. She kept arguing with me claiming that it was and I kept saying I ordered on your site and checked out as a guest there is no way I can get my own refund. Then she was like I cannot refund you and got flustered. Then finally said I will make the drink. They don't even know their online products eesh. Only gave it 2 stars because I got the drink but they made me feel like a criminal for asking for...
