Please refrain from purchasing from City Furniture. Worst experience ever. Order a $1600 couch back on Monday March 17th with a âPremium Delivery Serviceâ scheduled for delivery on Thursday March 20th where delivery time would be from 1:00pm to 4:00pm. I had someone at my property during this time waiting for a delivery that not only arrived 2 hours past delivery window provided but also when unloaded, I received the wrong order. Turns out that I got a right sofa ans a right chaise instead of the right sofa with a left chaise, only for the drivers to say that I must have placed the order wrong. Once I confirmed with the email, we contacted customer service and they insisted I kept the right sofa and they would schedule delivery for the left chaise. Out of consideration for the drivers given the fact that it was already well past 6:00pm I considered doing that and upon inspection of the one correct item I noticed that I received a right sofa that was all stained and had a cut in the back si they had to load it back into the truck. After being transferred multiple times I was told there was no comoensations for the warehouseâs mistake and the fact that I had someone waste a whole day, and after pressing on to speak wjth supervisors the $25 IN STORE CREDIT was raised to $50 and the guarantee that they would attempt delivery in Saturday the 22nd because the customers from Friday came before my order apareny that was tk be delivered Thursday. So not only did they miss the delivery window provided, they sent me half my order wrong, the part they did sent right was in terrible conditions, my compensation was an exception, ofcourse for their horrivle service and customer service. Nevertheless, I was hopefull they would get it rught on Saturday only to run into the same issue, wasting another day and after speaking with supervisor Laneshia, I was able to secure another $50 IN-STORE CREDIT and her agency that the 3rd time would be the charm. Saturday the 29th comes around and it is my 3rd attempt to get the couch I purchased 2 weeks ago and not only was the delivery past the window time lrovided we had the same issue. After an hour on the phone with customer service I was told by a supervisor that they could not offer me a discount nor guarantee a sooner delivery day (4th attempt) becuase âthese things happen and I had already received prior credits as exceptionsâ so after I requested to speak wjth someone higher than this supervisor not only did he not put them true he continue to deny and state the fact that they had already issued prior compensation as if I wanted to waste my time talking to him in the phone because the supervisor would be telling me the same thing he was. Again had I received the correct item ourchaed the first time they would have never been no need for such âexceptionâ not once, not twice, and definitely not a 3rd time. City Furniture/Ashley lacks integrity and everything about the company and sales people is dishonest. Customer service has absolutely the rudest people I have ever dealt with. I went to the store to purchase furniture for my home. I spent over $20K on furniture. Let's start with the delivery. They tell you they will be there in 30 minutes and get there whenever, wasting your time. They are not the nicest individuals either, but that wasn't the issue just pointing out for future reference. The first order placed was for $18K, and the sales rep didn't put the right address for delivery and committed to ordering an item we told him several times we wanted and how we wanted. That's where the issue started with the delivery. After we realized the order was incomplete, we went back to another City Furniture in hopes we would have a better experience NOPE that didn't happen either. On this order, we spent another $8K. I specifically told the salesperson the item I needed and why I needed it. The salesperson ordered what she thought I wanted. Unfortunately, it wasn't what I needed. After calling her and telling her this was not what we wanted, she very nicely told me well we have a non-refundable policy and you should call customer service. Of course, she could care less she made her money right. So I call customer service first rep just told me no refunds I explained I have no interest in a refund I want a credit and I want to return the item that doesn't work for me (the item was $300) she once again said no. I requested a supervisor, which I thought was going to help NOPE didn't help either. He asked for me to send an email and he would call the salesperson. of course, he didn't call the salesperson and did absolutely nothing. I called the following day, and another rep answered the phone and the same thing there are no returns. I think the company just has them say this no matter what the problem is. I requested another supervisor the lady didn't even want to come to the phone she was dining the claim. I then said I wanted to speak to someone above her. That went nowhere. They are not interested in customer service and trying to see what the issue is and help the customer, they are there to tell you there are no returns and give you attitude and rudeness.
