Update in response to Pinecrest Bakery:
Why would you leave a response on my review & NOT contact me, or respond to the 2 complaints I sent to the company via email? You want to appear as if you care to the public but it is very clear you don’t. If you cared, you would have responded to me, as your website stated you would, instead of responding to a google review for the general public to see your pitiful attempt to save face.
I let you know all of the issues within an hour of the order. It was NOT received & my husband had to pay a SECOND time. Your lack of accountability covered by politically correct statements mean nothing. You do not care about your customers nor conducting an ethical business. If you did, you would refund the order. I did everything possible to bring it to your attention. I called (was denied help) & sent responses to the order number to your company email as provided in the receipt (no response, though it says you will respond in 24-48 hours). You clearly have no intentions to rectify the problem your employees created. Your actions are grossly negligent.
Since the order was picked up, confirm WHO picked it up? Check your cameras, since you have the time. But most importantly, you never addressed the most important part of the review - how could the order have been picked up if my husband was told in person it wasn’t paid for?
That is the problem. You all place bagged orders on the right counter & ANYONE can grab them. You don’t even check! Then when issues arise you refuse to take accountability.
& yes, since the name of your establishment is Pinecrest Bakery & the menu is in English it would be GREAT if we could receive some sort of customer service in English. But that is NEVER the case & you know it as well as your employees. No wonder the employees act the way they do. Your response supports my experience.

I placed a pick up order for a sandwich online. I received a text message, confirming the order and when the order was ready for pick up.
When my spouse went to pick it up they told him that the order was never paid for online, so it was never prepared. That doesn’t make sense because the order was confirmed via text Message and I also received a message stating the order was ready for pick up.
My spouse thought that maybe there was an error when placing the order so he paid for an entire new meal in my absence. However, I have the text message receipts from your company, saying that you received the order that you were preparing the order and that the order was ready for pick up. I also have records from my bank statement, confirming payment!
When I called to get a refund for the order that I had placed online and paid for I was told that there is no one there who can speak English and no one could help me.

But in this case, I feel it's important to share how consistently RUDE the service and treatment by the women that work there are. After the third time visiting this Cutler Bay location recently, I feel compelled to write because it's unacceptable and vulgar. On all three recent occasions, it was in the morning between 8am and 9am, with a steady flow of customers. All the customers appear to be patient and in no hurry. When I get to my turn, I'm greeted with a tone of 'I don't have time for you' and annoyed that they're there working. What's worse, is they're consistently ruder to my wife than me. Their gestures and tone are clearly is demeaning especially to women. It's soo obvious, that we wind up questioning ourselves as we're leaving if we are presenting in a bad way and the answer is always no. We're even extra careful to be polite because we wonder if we're being offensive. But this last time, we found the women soo rude I felt I had to speak up and share this experience. Our coffees were barely warm and on the watery-side and the attitude was overwhelming. I considered bringing the coffee back in and ask them to remake it but didn't want to deal with more attitude, and if they got loud and had 'words' for me, the whole thing escalating to a shouting match and a possible ugly YouTube viral video. So we threw away the coffees and decided we won't be subjecting ourselves to this location's employees anymore. If they're annoyed at the work they do, they should find other employment. But they are clearly hurting this business. I see from multiple reviews I'm not alone in my experience. I hope the management reads this review. I considered writing a letter and mailing it to this location, that's how bad I find these women that work there. I would never have expected such perfect service at such a time. I always get nervous at night specially late but I was so hungry and I'm so happy you made me feel so good this warm food I feel so good right now because of you. You made my whole week I will always remember you you made me feel really happy and gave me something to look forward to thank you so much for making my whole day that was horrible turn out to be an everlasting great time.
