If I could give this zero Stars I would. I am a doordasher and I have top Dasher status for Cuyahoga Falls and I build a very good rapport with most of the stores however I will never again accept a doordash order for this location. I experienced the worst service when I went in to pick up a Dasher order from about 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. not quite sure exact time frame. I was ignored and kept trying to get somebody to ask them about the order but a handful of Staff just kept walking and staring at me and ignoring me and then when I finally got somebody they were very short with me and would not give me any details about the order. The place was almost empty but there was a ton of staff and when I did finally get a manager he had an attitude and yelled at me about the order he would not give me any details about the order so that I could communicate with the customer and with my doordash superiors about this order. I was then yelled at three different times by staff and they walked away not allowing a conversation. I tried to call in later on to talk to somebody but the girl who answered the phone ignored me and was talking to her friends and only greeted me one time and then said hold on and hung up the phone. I then try to call in the morning to report this to the store general manager and she was just as nasty with a nasty attitude and she tried to blame doordash drivers and started talking bad about other doordash drivers to cover up the bad service of her chosen staff that night. This is an awful place and I will no longer accept orders from them and I am also filling out a feedback form to doordash on the store they need an entire overhaul of Staff members including management because the one they have is horrible. She cut me off when I tried to explain to her as well that doordash customers love their food so much that they pay top dollar they pay more money including tips and a driver for their food than anybody that comes in and sits down so their orders should be prepared by the time that drivers get there and I understand if it's busy but it was not busy and when I tried to explain this to her she said that doordash customers are not anymore important than anybody else. She does not value a paying customer and she wants to deflect the problems on the driver even though we just are doing the best to serve our customers. By disrespecting the doordash drivers and having staff that hang up the phones on people and ignore people that are paying top dollar for the food this keeps Applebee's from making as much money as other surrounding stores and people like this who are made manager keep stores like this from bringing more paying customers in because they hire staff that respects customers or delivery employees who work to deliver food to higher paying customers. There should be a penalty fee for stores like this who disrespect dashers because ignoring and treating a delivery driver bad is also negatively affecting our customers we deliver to as this will blacklist this store to other delivery drivers who do not want the same...
Read moreI hate to leave a bad review but my family and I did not have a good experience, at all. I will first say CT, the manager, was very nice. However our server, Alisha, was not good. She took a good minute to even get our drinks. Being a server, I get it but they weren’t super busy and she was very talkative to other tables before bringing them. Second, we ordered mozz sticks as an app. They never came. I ordered the three cheese penne pasta and asked for the chicken to go. She was very confused so then I just said, chicken on the side. When our food came the chicken, cheese and tomatoes were on the side. Pasta was cold. I’m a vegetarian so the tomatoes/cheese melted on the chicken is not appetizing to me. I said it was fine but she continued to blame the kitchen. Again, being a server, I was now getting annoyed. Just say sorry and see how to fix the problem. Instead of fumbling over your words. The manager came over and said there was a misunderstanding. I said, there was no misunderstanding. I was very clear on what I asked for. But I don’t like making big deals so I kept saying it was fine. Alisha comes back over and tries to smooth things over and then in the process of this conversation my mom touched her arm, almost like a gentle brush. Well, two mins later the manager came back and said she has PTDS and my mom “grabbing her arm” hard triggered her. This absolutely did not happen!!!! I was so blown away I couldn’t help but laugh. Absolutely ridiculous. We got $8 off the bill and a fresh piece of chicken to go home but it was still a complete waste of $50. Read moreI will preface this review with an understanding that kitchen staffs are short in a lot of places and I only will mention speed of service as extremely slow, simply because it was God awful slow. I will never let how quickly the dining experience is affect my restaurant choice unless I'm in a hurry though. I can, however say that I more than likely will not revisit Applebee's anytime soon based on the food. My kids say they enjoyed their boneless wings and 4cheese Mac and cheese but didn't really eat much of either, which usually means they are being polite. As for myself, I got the neighborhood burger minus pickles add bacon and sauteed onions. After waiting a solid 35-40 minutes for the food to arrive, my burger came with some pickles and all their glorious juices. I told the waitress, who was very nice, and she took it back to the kitchen. Miraculously, my replacement burger only took 7-8 minutesand was pickle free. The two patties looked like they should have been one and we're split apart and the sauteed onions had to have been cooked for about 30 seconds because they were as close to raw onion as you can get without being raw onion. I would rate this burger lower than a burger from McDonald's as it lacked any flavor other than the overwhelming raw onion taste. Which I couldn't wash away the flavor of because my water sat empty for the majority of our time there. Definitely not worth the price and I would recommend avoiding it.
