I have no problem with the food service in this restaurant. What I DO have a problem with is the way the crew leaders don't listen to valid complaints about safety issues in their store.
I am a regular customer at the Howe Rd. location. I often come in this store with my elderly Mother who uses a cane to walk. During the winter, we came in on a weekend day, which was days after a snow storm, and the handicap spots immediately in front of the main door were impassable on foot. Once we had parked in the handicap spot and then opened our doors, there was more than 2 inches of snow and ice at both of our front car doors and in front of our car, which we had to drive through to get into the spot. It wasn't like we had a choice of where to park, as all of the handicap spaces in front of the door were in the same unmaintained state. He assured us he would take care of it. We came back several days later, and it was in worse condition than before. Yesterday, May 18, Mother & I returned. Upon entering, we noted that the dining room floors, including the bathroom, were so slick we nearly lost our footing. My Mother used the ladies' room only to encounter the same problem. We told the crew chief about the risky floors, and she insisted on arguing about it, stating that the crew was required to wear nonslip shoes. Floors felt as though someone had forgotten to use degreaser in the mop water or simply took only a greasy mop with no bucket to all the floors. Crew Chief insisted that it must be our shoes only, as she says other customers had not complained. She was very short and rude and seemed insistent on not acknowledging that there was a safety issue. As we left the store, we warned folks coming in to be careful with walking on floors. They thanked us and acknowledged the problem. When we got outside the doors, I asked a couple exiting the restaurant, and they said the floors were very unsafe and slick. Your Crew Chief insisted on talking to us as though we were the only ones who had the problem. She was extremely dismissive of this...
Read moreVery disappointing experience at this location on Howe Ave on 10/4/2025. The what I’m assuming to be the Assistant Manager because of the black shirt and GM’s certainly don’t work at night lol. Asked us to leave at 10:07 pm when we had calmly expressed that the google for this location says 11pm closing time for inside and midnight for drive through. I certainly understand and can appreciate the employees who clean early and sweeping. However, we had only came to work on college school work. We were quiet and did not make a mess what so ever. Just needed somewhere inside to sit down and pull our laptops out. It did feel a bit frustrating that google says 1 thing when this manager said another. He had expressed that the dining room closes at 10 pm. When google says the dining room closes at 11. Also weirdly frustrating that he let me and my partner order food for the dining room and did not inform us. Disappointing experience and I hope that the management could take into consideration basic business skills for running a franchise would be transparency to keep business. Biggest example here would be having a consistent opening and closing time. If this location is instructed to close at 10pm via the district manager that’s great! Just some transparency across the board would be appreciated for the future. It really is the small things that matter to consumers that sometimes are overlooked. Time transparency, safe and clean environment, and polite customer service. If you have any questions or concerns or need more evidence or information do not hesitate...
Read moreNight shift manager from 03/19/2023 was beyond rude!!! After calling to report that her staff forgot a sandwich in my order, she repeatedly told me I had it, and that she packed the bags herself. Well maybe she did pack them, but I had the bags/food right in front of me at my house and she's not going to tell me what was there and what wasn't. Then she admits to forgetting a sandwich and offered to replace the deluxe chicken with filet o'fish (a cheaper sandwich) when the one that I was missing was the deluxe chicken. I told her I didn't want the filet I wanted the chicken sandwich that I already paid for and fresh fries since mine would be cold and disgusting by the time I returned. She refused, so I asked for a refund, which she also refused saying, "I don't owe you anything." I'm calling corporate in the morning to deal with her and get my money back. You owe me what I paid for!!! FRESH FOOD ACCORDING TO THE ORDER. I managed a chain of 5 McDonald's in the past, and I would have never treated a customer with such disregard and poor customer service!!! Not even...
