Five Guys — Restaurant in Cypress

Have enjoyed the 5 Guys up at 290/spring cypress so expected similar service. This location recently opened and decided to let them warm up before we came in. Normal 5 Guys atmosphere. Food might have been a little slower to come out vs. 290. I got standard cheeseburger and it was tasty. Standard fries were okay a bit soggy but i like how they over fill. GF ordered small bacon cheeseburger and the meat was too small and overcooked. In order for them to get direct feedback and correct, i asked for manager who approached tentatively. I mentioned standard cheeseburger was good but the small bacon cheeseburger had too small of patty and was well overcooked. She started immediately walking away and said she would tell them, i assume the folks cooking, but she wasn't up for any conversation apparently. Other than that, maybe a little pricey but to be honest haven't been in a 5 Guys in a while so maybe the going rate.

GF says we will never go back but never say never....I will give them another shot...

On a slow Monday in terms of people in line, i place an order online and was told 737 is when the food will be ready. I got there at 740 and my food was not even prepare. As I waited, I see walk in guest's tickets were put in front of mine. I see door dash people coming in and their order being filled. I did not get my food until 810. Employees were apologizing but it doesn't fix anything.

Never will I come here again. Absolutely awful. I dont want to hurt a new business, staff was nice but the system is broken. Door dash and walk in guest has more priority than order...
