Hello,
I initially emailed this but I never received a direct response. Therefore, Iām posting here.
I suggest creating a taste test among a dozen or more people if you want the maximum effect.
It should knock customers off their feet with wing flavor if you test each with various levels of coating. It will also promote the product.
Location - Chimac - Barker Cypress Date - 6/21/25.
Suggestion Apply more seasoned coating to the 1) hot lemon pepper and 2) Honey Cajun. They should be equally as tasty as the Honey Garlic Pepper. That coating shouldn't be as spicy as HGP but they shouldn't feel naked either.
My mother mentioned that the Honey Cajun looked naked from the eye test. She doesn't like spicy foods as much as I do but she stated that she didn't taste much seasoning, at all, after eating them.
I felt the same about the hot lemon pepper. I love lemon pepper but I barely received any taste from it and I donāt normally add salt to my foods after cooking.
Your Honey Garlic Pepper has a welcome kick to it. I would purchase those again along with the pink sauce because I like spicier foods.
Better Points The temperature for all of the food was excellent. I love the apple pie egg rolls also.
I'd love to be a part of your test crowd. I'm a filmmaker that creates documentaries and short films. I'd be willing to test them on camera and send you my response or try...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDelicious tasting food. I found it to taste like Korean American food almost that like Iād find out a food truck delicious flavors, freshly prepared with the rice bowls I wanted to be more like Bibibop and so I found it more just like A rice bowl with extra fixings the chicken wings with the bone in were very delicious and moist however, I found the grilled chicken in the bowl to be more like teriyaki and less like chicken Bulgogi and a little bit dry. Also, I wanted the kimchi to have a little stronger flavor, but I think it was muted by the spicy Korean barbecue sauce, which really isnāt like that the red sauce youād find in Bibibop.
Iād recommend this place and received friendly and helpful service from Kort.
The interior is clean, and the parking lot can get full during busy times.
Note my rating system: 1 Star: I wouldn't recommend 2 Stars: Didn't hit my standards 3 Stars: Average (nothing special) 4 Stars: Above Average. Would recommend. Still looking for the 5 Star. 5 Stars: Top of their game. Great food. Great service. Would recommend and plan...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreCame here for their grand opening and my friend and I ordered the steak bowl and fried chicken (spicy korean bbq and honey garlic pepper). The steak bowls were very filling. Mine included fried rice, noodles, spicy beef, kimchi, a variety of different veggies, beans, and a fried egg on top. I donāt think Iāve ever had beans in a korean-inspired bowl but I didnāt mind it lol. And depending on how many toppings you get, the bowl can honestly be made into two meals so itās definitely worth! As for the fried chicken, itās pretty solid! I think I liked the spicy korean bbq sauce over the honey garlic pepper but theyāre both decent. The wings werenāt as crispy as I thought theyād be but the meat itself was very juicy and moist! And when I took extras back home and threw it in the air fryer, the crispiness was there so I loved it! Aside from the great food, I really appreciate the owner being so warm and welcoming. Congratulations to Chimac on opening their new location with great food- I am looking forward to...
