Mountain Mike's Pizza — Restaurant in Cypress

All im going to say is the first time when this place first opened it was awesome then the next 8-10 visits were nothing but a nightmare always something missing sometimes pizza would have sauce sometimes it would have none if u say something and they replace it they make it the same dayum way never fix it makes u wonder if it was done one purpose. So we have officially given up on this place gone way down hill also the manager one of them suggested something to me after they replaced a pizza well to my wife that i will never forget but NOT Gonna even go into what he said but it was the dumbest most stupid recommendation i have ever heard of as i have worked in multiple family run pizza places! Also the African American cashier needs an attitude check at this place or to be fired who does she think she is talking to adults like she does! And also Whoever is making the pizzas need to be retrained on portions etc as they are never right ! Also learn how to cut the big mountain mikes pizza never cut properly here at this location. Went for the lunch buffet. Walk in, pay and the buffet is to the right. It includes salad bar, pizza choices and a drink for 12.99. There were some food selections of pizzas but they didn’t really rotate out while we were there.

Pizza is really good pan style. Crust is crunchy on first bite and soft inside. The pepperoni pizza has the small ones and is absolutely loaded up. There was one with pineapple, salami, white sauce and green onion which was also delicious. I could only get in one return trip before I got full.

I would have liked to have seen a bit more rotation of pizza but it was also slow when we got there so probably hard to turn the pizzas over. Business picked up as we were leaving.

My only concern was that they were probably overstaffed. Normally not a bad thing but there was a group of 4 employees just standing around the back of the buffet talking to each other when I went up. Customers don’t need to hear personal conversations. Hopefully they got busier as it picked up. Would have for staffing costs to hurt this place...

It's really not fair for me to comment on the food because I didn't get what I ordered. I made a website order for thin crust and got thick crust which I do not like.

When I went in to pick it up, I asked if it was thin crust and was told yes. I didn't open the box, shame on me.

When I got home and opened the box, I saw that it was thick crust. I called the store and talked to the person, whom I assume was the manager. He told me that it was my mistake because I picked the wrong selection on the website. I guess that it's also my mistake that the person who handed me the pizza confirmed that it was thin crust.
