Nestled in the vibrant Northwest Houston area of Cypress, TX, The Curry Pizza Company stands out as a beacon of flavor and innovation in the fast-food pizza scene. With a promise of original toppings and the freshest ingredients, this newcomer to the culinary landscape delivers an experience that's both satisfying and memorable.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the inviting aroma of freshly baked crust and aromatic spices. While their menu boasts an impressive selection of pizzas, it was the standout dishes that truly stole the show.
To kick off my culinary adventure, I couldn't resist trying the Loaded Curry Waffle Fries. This appetizer was a true indulgence, with crispy waffle fries generously topped with a fragrant curry sauce and tantalizing paneer. Each bite was a burst of flavor that left me craving more.
For my main course, I opted for a half-and-half pizza, showcasing the best of both worlds: the Achari Paneer Pizza and the Butter Paneer Pizza. As a discerning pizza enthusiast, I judge a pie by the quality of its crust, and The Curry Pizza Company exceeded all expectations. The crust was impeccably baked, with the perfect balance of chewiness and crispness, earning a solid 10 out of 10 in my book.
What truly impressed me was the impeccable balance of flavors. The paneer was tender and succulent, perfectly complementing the aromatic spices and creamy sauces. Despite the generous toppings, the pizzas weren't weighed down or soggyāa testament to the skill of the chefs and the quality of the ingredients.
One of the most remarkable aspects of my dining experience was the value for money. Despite offering top-notch ingredients and innovative flavor combinations, The Curry Pizza Company remains incredibly affordableāa rare find in today's culinary landscape.
In conclusion, The Curry Pizza Company is a true gem in the Northwest Houston area, offering a culinary experience that's as delightful as it is delicious. With its impeccable crust, flavorful toppings, and unbeatable value, it's a must-visit destination for pizza lovers...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI really wanted to like this place. My vegetarian friend and I came in and asked specifically about the different vegetarian options (we literally went through each of them at the counter before ordering). We placed our order with the girl at the counter for the butter paneer pizza. We got our pizza and my friend noticed that there weren't any vegetables on it, she said that there should have been vegetables on the butter paneer pizza because that was the description on the menu. When she asked the same girl at the counter, she said that was the butter chicken pizza, not the butter paneer. Immediately, my friend felt sick. You might think it's easy to differentiate between paneer and chicken, but it really wasn't (and I eat both). I told the girl that I'd like to talk to management and she went to the back and came back out and said there was no management. I asked for management's number and was not given it. Someone else came out from the back who was for some reason smiling over this situation; he told us that that girl is new and next time to just ask for someone from the back to take our order. I told him there won't be a next time and also explained that why would we want to order a butter chicken pizza when we literally asked about all the vegetarian options. Here's the thing--this location is in a diverse area and people will frequent this location who have different dietary restrictions. Vegetarian vs non-vegetarian is the most basic difference. You cannot run an establishment this carelessly, this is a grave mistake and a BIG deal for some people. I am not one to leave a bad review, I would have loved to leave a good one instead of this, but this was an awful experience and poorly handled. It is management's responsibility to train their employees to take orders with respect to people's dietary/religious restrictions. This incident reflects very poorly on not just the employees, but also the management. I will NOT be returning, and I will be following up with...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreTldr: Pizza is expensive but ok. Wings are good. Service is beyond terrible. Money is better spent literally anywhere else.
Food: Pizza is ok. Got the butter chicken pizza. It was an aggressively average pizza. Not bad, but nothing great either. If someone told me they made a pizza with chicken and tomato sauce, this would be it. Downside is that it is very, very, very pricey. For that price, just go to a sit down restaurant and order their pizzas to-go. You will get significantly better quality for your money. Loaded fries are ok. Better than the pizza but that isn't saying much. Wings are very good! Only thing worth getting.
Service: Service is, by far, the worst thing about here. Steer clear and get better pizza elsewhere. Got here late afternoon on a weekday as the only customer. Girl at the counter was consistently rude. I saw that there was a "buy a family pizza and get free breadsticks" promotion when looking up the place. I asked her about it and she angrily asked me "where do you see that?!" while throwing a bit of a fit. I felt stupid, thinking the promotion doesn't exist/it was rude for me to ask about something imaginary and promptly apologized. As I wait, I see the promo show up ON THE MENU on the tv screen behind her. Whatever. She's pissy for some reason and I'm not going to get into an arguement. When I get home, I find that they messed up the pizza as I had ordered the pizza with the cilantro on the side. They did not do it. Normally, I'm all for forgiving mistakes for restaurants as accidents happen. Unfortunately, the worker was so rude to me that I will not be giving them another chance. Trust me, this place is not worth your time or the high price. Hell, even if it was normal priced pizza, you'd better...
