It was pretty terrible today to be honest! I come here multiple times a week and typically don't have many issues.. but today was not the case.
The main problem today started with pricing etc... they wanted to charge me more today than I ever pay for the same order. They argued with me to justify the price (18 and change for what is usually 16!). I refused to pay that so I ordered the same exact thing on the app and it was 16! Well what do you know??
The difference today was the addition of what is supposed to be a FREE Whataburger with the purchase of a "medium" fry and a "medium" drink. So... I bought a LARGE fry and a LARGE drink and my normal burger (a double double) and the "free" burger tacked on 2 extra dollars! They tried to tell me that it had to be a medium... BS! You can spend MORE than what a coupon asks for people!
So I order what I want on the app, pay the normal price right?? I deleted the "free" Whataburger that they wanted to charge me 2 bucks for... And waited for my food.
Food comes out and the fries have no detectable heat in them and have obviously been sitting. The burger was incorrect so I sent it back. It comes out again and it was wrong again. I sent it back AGAIN it this time it was right. By this time the fries are definitely cold so I was so over it I just ate the burger and dumped the two incorrect burgers and the cold fries in the trash.
I ordered an apple pie with the whole thing that has also been sitting but it did have a little heat in it but it was by no means hot!
Again... I typically don't have this experience at this location!! In Dawsonville and in Oakwood... Yes!!! All the time!! (Same operating partner from Dawsonville is now in Oakwood).. but this location has always been fine.
Either new employees, or lack of training... Something has happened at least today because it pretty...
Read moreThis was my wife and I's first experience at a Whataburger... The girl in the Drive-Thru was friendly, my sandwich was okay, my wife's sandwich was super soggy and gross, and the fries were cold. I normally don't complain much, but my wife lost her appetite and just wanted a refund for her nasty soggy sandwich.
Her sandwich was the original number 1 add cheese.
So I drive back over there and I go inside tell the clerk behind the counter that her sandwich wasn't any good and she just wanted her money back. The clerk then goes to the kitchen and doesn't tell them the whole story... whoever is in charge starts getting angry and sounded irritated. Then the clerk does not give me a refund for the sandwich...but a remake of the sandwich. I don't know how they didn't understand that I just wanted my money back for the bad sandwich?
The manager apparently wouldn't give me the time of day because she wouldn't come out of the kitchen. I understand being busy but I do also understand customer service is important too..
I could only hope that Burger King buys this building when they get done being a Whataburger,
PS I didn't even think of putting up a picture of the lousy sandwich, we already fed it to the chickens.

My receipt said no mustard add mayonnaise. It did not say anything about eliminating all the other things on the hamburger.
Tried to explain this to the lady at the cash register who genuinely did not want to deal with it. Finally got someone to re-order.
Second burger came out after eight minutes by this time it was a total of 25 minutes since I had paid for my food I have the receipt
No mayonnaise I asked for a packet of mayonnaise, which they do not have they were going to have to remake the burger
This time I spoke to the so-called manager
He grudgingly told me I could throw the hamburgers away. He wouldn’t touch them. He would not add mayonnaise to the second burger remake hamburger.
31 minutes after I paid for my food, he handed me my hamburger
Absolutely Zero customer service he did not apologize. He did not ask what else he could do for me.
Long story short they screwed up twice at least and then treated me like I was the bad guy
I am absolutely certain that he behaves this way because there are no consequences
