I have ordered from this place for over 10 years and have had 2 incidents. One where I found a bug in my soup but since I love this place I let it go. Took me awhile before I went back but did so nonetheless. The last straw was when they discriminated against the individual that picked up my food. One of the employees thought it was ok to make prejudice jokes because the individual did not speak fluent in English! I will NEVER do business with this place again especially when they think Hispanic prejudice jokes are ok! It’s sad considering that a lot of their employees don’t speak good English and I have always been very patient and understanding! They need to retrain their employees and not allow for prejudice jokes to be made when a non English speaker picks up food!
Response to your apology: I apologize that you have dishonest staff. My order was called in personally by me, not placed online. It seems you may have had an issue with another order as well. I provided my phone number and name and emphasized that my order would be picked up and that the individual would provide a name. There was a language barrier on one end but on my end there was none. As a matter of fact, I spoke with the employees and he continued to laugh and joke thinking his prejudice joke was funny. I mentioned to the employee that I would be reporting your establishment in which he proceeded to say he did not care about my feedback and that I could report whatever I wanted. Again, please do better with our...
Read moreI called ahead so I can order for pick-up while I was shopping in the area as we were heading home, a man put me on hold for 15 minutes so we eventually just stopped by to order inside the restaurant as we were already in the parking lot and still on hold. When I came in, a lady with short hair asked me if I have an order for pickup, I said no because I told her I was calling and was on hold forever. I was putting my order in for 5 people, and was mispronouncing everything as i am not Vietnamese but I asked her if they have Ban Xeoh and 2 dishes in, she passed me to the guy mopping the floor impatiently (there were only 5 tables occupied and nobody in line) after sighing exasperatedly. So i told the guy I am okay politely as he did not deserve my wrath, he looked at me empathically and apologized and so I just walked out. I went to Viet Chopsticks, which unlike Vietnam 75, did not smell like recycled peanut oil. They were very nice on the phone and even nicer in person when they handed me my huge order. We will never go to nor order from this place again even if it was the last Vietnamese food restaurant in...
Read moreThis is the first time I tried noodles soup in this restaurant. I cam with my wife, Kim Jenner to have Pho soup and I ordered summer rolls and two chicken noodles soup.We live in Petersburg and we went to DC to visit. Before we went to DC on Monday 08/27/2018 ,I guess. we went pass Woodbridge so we decided to find a restaurant to have noodles soup. My wife is Korean so she really liked noodles soup. In that day, when we were eating, a waiter who were old and fat, he passed us to clean a table which was behind us. I feel there is unpleasant smell came from his shirt. I am sure it is not from the trash cause I look at the cart. I know the smell from trash is different from the smell of him. Its very horrible. Although noodles soup is very delicious but that smell makes me feel uncomfortable when we were eating. I still remember very much so I wish when I come next time,I would not meet that men. I have a very good memory about what I've done. I do not know if the owner look for the review or not but I still want to post it so everyone can see. We live far from Woodbridge so we may not go up to the North...
