Cute and cozy with great options to venture to the vegan side. Prices are average to high but they do have lunch specials (Mon. - Fri. 10:45am - 3pm). The menu is quite vast so be ready to read everything if it is your first time.
I tried a bit of everything. It was a Self check-out kiosk, so you order yourself and take a buzzer; I like the concept but it felt a little cold to order that way, but that could be just me. The duck confit banh mi ($11.95) is DELICIOUS! I did add two eggs for $2.50 but it's worth it. The meat is so juicy and seasoned perfectly, I could eat that by itself. The bread is also amazing. They got a delivery when I was there and there is nothing more beautiful then freshly baked bread. Absolutely a must try. The red curry mac and cheese was not seasoned though, and the sauce was broken. I did ask the new worker at the front (who was also amazing) and maybe the owner about how it was made, maybe just today was an off day. I got the bao buns to go because the banh mi was so delicious and holy moly it's a only $2 up charge for the soft shell crab but it's literally twice the size of the bun (see picture), so totally worth it. The salmon bun is my favorite, the smoked salmon is fresh and the cream cheese gives a creamy tang to complete the taste. I will for sure be back to try the soft serve and a vegan banh mi.
Clean bathrooms and compostable straws. Just so you know, I drove by twice before finding a parking lot in the back, but there is street parking in front if you...
Read moreRatings from a teen and a pre-teen: They loved it. They raved about how great it was, although I’ve been to authentic Vietnamese places in Arlington and Richardson that serve legit bánh mì and bánh bao in those cash-only spots.
That said, since it’s not too spicy or overly seasoned, I can see why it’s rated the “top bun bao” spot by folks new to Vietnamese cuisine. The spot isn’t even owned by a Vietnamese family (Thai owned). It’s a vegan-friendly spot, which is encouraging to see in this area. The interior is immaculately clean, and the decor is subtle yet bold with accent wall enhancements. The menu is short, straightforward, but rewarding.
On the flip side: When you walk in, there is an order line and a pick-up line. The college student cashier had us waiting five minutes until the owner in the kitchen flagged that we needed to order. There is a large iPad-like kiosk facing the cashier that was offline (during lunch hour, no less), and we were asked to move to the pickup line to place our order. While the ordering took about 10 minutes, the food was out in less time than that.
I’ll return but only if my kids ask me to. Catch me outside in Arlington or Richardson Viet...

Ordered the Five Spice Pork Belly Banh Mi, Coconut Curry Brisket Banh Mi, Siracha Fries, and Red Curry Mac.
Environment: The business is designed very well and I love the layout. The menu is very simply laid out and it too many options.
Service: Upon entering the establishment we were not greeted at first and the gentlemen at the counter was kind if dry. I believe he is the owner or at least one of them. He did help me navigate thru their menu and warmed up alittle after we ordered.
Food: Wow!I must say the Banh Mi's were delicious. I ordered the Five Spice Pork Belly which was seasoned really well and the sandwich was fresh. Riddled with crisp veggies. My wife's Coconut Curry Brisket was delectable. It was so good it made me regret my order! The siracha fries were okay from a flavor stand point but very crispy and cooked well. We also had the mac was bland. Ut presented nicely. Just really needed more salt a d lacked flavor to my wife and I.
Overall would be back to try more items on the menu and do recommend you...
