This place is horrible. I’m originally from South Texas and loved seeing Laredo Taco Company coming up to Dallas area. This location is close to my home and I’ve tried to like it many times but it’s POORLY managed. The other two locations (off Park Lane and another off Walnut Hill) are so much better. This location needs an overhaul or to close down. I know so many others from South Texas that have said the same. I gave this location another chance today and severely disappointed. The place was trashy. Here are the problems with the store and also observed today. 1. Trashy location. There was an abandoned broom and trash just sitting by the salsa bar. Zero napkins at the salsa bar. Salsa bar was a mess and empty. 2. Untimely. There was a line of four people only and we were waiting over ten minutes to just be rung up for the small amount of tacos in the pic sitting on the line. 3. Heartless. Zero emotion whatsoever from the staff. Like they don’t want to be there. No “good morning”. No “hello, what can I get you”. Literally just blank stares like you’re a problem being there until you speak up and tell them what you want. 4. Today was my first ever experience with an undercooked tortilla. Literally still tough and raw when biting into it. Got up and asked for another tortilla because mine was undercooked. Given another tortilla but not asked if everything was ok or if they could fix it. I sat down and transferred my food from the raw tortilla to the newly cooked one. 5. Worst salsa bar ever. Not even the recipes from Laredo Taco Company. The red salsa which I’ve been eating since I was a young kid (over 25 years) is not at this location. Instead you have to settle for store bought pre packaged tasting chunky red salsa. Cilantro? Forget about it. Shredded lettuce? Not here. Pico? Don’t ask, since the only pico they had was on the floor by the broom left abandoned. Other salsas? Empty. 6. Empty line of food. Want options? Go elsewhere. Their line is always more than half empty. The other locations always have options galore. Here it’s a choice of settling for whatever they have. 7. Lifeless bodies. The several times I’ve been here there’s always several employees. At least 4-5 working a shift but not once is there any life in any of them. Goes back to point number three of seeming like you’re a bother for being there. Want to be ignored? Go to this location. I tried to love this place multiple times but this location is dead to me. I’ll be making the trip to the other two locations to get that back home nostalgia of what I know Laredo Taco Company should be. So disappointed that this location even exists.

This bad review goes to Isabel for being so rude at 5am in the morning for no reason. I get there, the door is locked to the Laredo side so I enter through the 7-Eleven side upon walking in. I see Isabell and another young lady talking near the grill area. It’s already 5:05 Isabel still has her purse on her shoulder Big gulp in hand standing with the girl talking. No good morning or “ We will be right with you”. Typically stop here before work almost twice a week and every time there’s a problem. This morning I just couldn’t tolerate the disrespect. I hope management does something about this ongoing problem. I asked about the hot sauce, She says they don’t have any because they’re short staffed! I mean, if they arrived a little early, maybe everything would be prepared and out by the time the customers arrive to start ordering their morning tacos. Never been to a place that sells tacos and they don’t have hot sauce. She goes on to say they have a hiring site on indeed I could go apply if I wanted, then walked off didn’t charge me for my burritos. I asked for a management she ignored me and Shooed me a way as if I was a child. It’s five in the morning right before work I shouldn’t of had to start my day off this way in frustration and negativity coming from someone else who is obviously not happy with their job. As you can see in my picture, they are not prepared at all, she started counting her money after she made my burritos and you could see her big gulp beside her that I mentioned earlier. This place really needs to get it together. Good location. Just wish We had more towards Duncanville or Cedar Hill.

Read my original review below. So even though I didn't like it when I visited 2 years ago I was starving one morning and gave it another chance. Wow what an absolute difference! They've completely revamped the kitchen and the food and everything else. Fantastic! Tacos were spot on old school breakfast tacos, large, plenty of ingredients, well balanced. And all that in the $2-$3 range! They also have a salsa bar with four different very good salsas, cilantro, limes, jalapenos etc. I've been back twice now this week! 😅 So happy they fixed their issues from a couple of years ago, staff is now friendly, fast and competent. Previous review: This is for new location at Abrams/Park. Tacos were alright, nothing too special. Cheap. But the staff... Completely incompetent, disinterested and occasionally rude. 10 or so people, half standing around. Discussing quitting times and how much they don't want to be there in front of customers, etc. Replace them with well-trained dedicated employees and you might have something like 4 stars. Won't be back, WAY too many excellent taco shops for this to compete.
