I would like to preface my review, I intentionally waited several weeks to write this so I could try to be less angry. Horrible staff!!! Ruined our Valentine's day. I made a reservation to come here for Valentine's day because it had such good reviews. The inside is kinda cheesy but I loved it. After that it went all downhill. Our waiter saw us maybe a total of 5 times. First he came for drinks and seemed upset because we needed a few more minutes to look over the selection. Then he came back to take our drink and diner order. The menu was a one day menu (for Valentine's day) and lacking in description. I am vegetarian and he told me the lasagna was vegetarian, so I ordered it. They have much larger vegetarian selection online but decided to close the oven for some reason... on Valentine's day. The bread was actually great but that was the one and only time we saw it. Somehow they kept skipping over our table when coming by to refill despite the owner coming by and saying he would have someone bring over some more bread. Then the entrees came, food was a little salty but ok otherwise. I had the lasagna and seemed a little chewy but ok otherwise. I then gave my wife a bite and she realized there was beef in the lasagna. The lighting was dim mood lighting but using my phone could see it was a medium brown color. I informed the waiter (3rd time we saw him) and he was adamant there was no meat and said it was ricotta and refused to confirm with the kitchen or replace the item. We then asked for the check as I lost my appetite, (4th time seeing waiter) paid and left. This was the first time I have never tipped at a restaurant because of how upset I was. I have been served meat before but no one has ever been so uncaring or...
Read moreFirst time dining here. Party of 4. We were met by the owner, who showed us to our table. He was very friendly, polite, and professional. Our server arrived, took out drink order, and answered any questions about the menu we ysd. She was very friendly, and outgoing. The bread arrived, with a balsamic/olive oil dipping sauce with garlic and shredded parmesan cheese. The bread was a mini loaf, hot and fresh from the oven, fluffy, and had a herb blend sprinkled on top. When dipped into the dipping sauce, everything blended well on you palate. The house salad that came with dinner was fresh, not wilted, but a bit heavy on the dressing, for my taste. Dinner arrived. The plates were hot, like straight from the oven hot. Our waitress warned us about them, which was good. I had ordered, the veal marsala, served over angel hair pasta. The veal was fork tender, and melted in your mouth. The marsala sause was on point. The mushrooms were tender, without being over cooked. There was just the right amount of sauce for the amount of veal and pasta. It was the BEST veal marsala I ever ate. My husband had the Chicken piccata. He said his chicken was very tender, the angel hair pasta was cooked perfectly, and the sauce had just the right amount of lemon to white wine. He throughly enjoyed it. Our friends also raved about their meal, the chicken parmigiana, and the linguine with grilled shrimp. Our server checked on us throughout dinner, making sure everything was ok. We had a FABULOUS dining experiance. We will definately...
Read moreWas celebrating my sis n law's milestone birthday last night and looking forward to dining here for the first time. The restaurant does have nice ambiance. We were seated in the middle of the restaurant along with other large parties, so was a little cramped but understandably so. Our server, who I later found out was the manager, was okay. He didn't seem interested in ensuring we had refills, was impatient, and somewhat rude. He wanted us to move after being there about 15 minutes of being seated. I'm assuming because we had a few empty seats at the table. Unbeknownst to me, the party had already been moved as I was walking in. The main issue I had was when he brought the bill and presented to my niece who set the reservation for the party. We immediately asked if he could split the bill, he rudely stated we can't do that and walked away. Can't or wouldn't?! This left one person to pay a bill for a party of 10. At this point, I'm about to ask to speak to a manager and didn't find out until leaving he was the manager. So, if this is the policy of your restaurant, it needs to be publicly displayed. Obviously, it is not because tables surrounding us were able to split their bills. Needless to say, I likely won't return here because of your attitude. The food was good, but Bucca Di Beppo is great and the management there ensures your experience is enjoyable. By the way, the tip was because we appreciated being fed at...
