Chicken Express — Restaurant in Dallas

I ordered a family meal with 1 side (mashed potatoes) and 6 rolls from this location through Grubhub. The food was late arriving and was missing the rolls AND the sides. I called Grubhub and spoke to someone w/ a heavy accent who at first put me on hold to call the driver. We got disconnected and he called back to say the driver didn’t have the rest of the food and they’d give me a refund for the side and rolls. He didn’t offer to refund me for the taxes or the delivery fee until I complained. When I asked to speak to a supervisor he acted like had a problem with my request but as I kept insisting he put me on hold (w/ music) and then took me off hold (no music) and held the phone. Then he hung it up. I called back and got someone named Edgar who eventually got me over to someone he said was a supervisor (Sepulveda??). This person apologized and offered to give me additional funds on my Grubhub account. Frankly this is the very reason why I don’t use Grubhub that often — my order is always wrong or the restaurants don’t have what I’ve ordered or aren’t accepting orders or no longer work with Grubhub. And I’m appalled the this location would give such bad service when they usually don’t. It’ll be a long time before or if I ever use...

If you love Chicken Express. Do not go here. Unless you wonder what it would be like being pecked to death by a duck. Ordered two combo meals inside restaurant Took 35 mins to make. Other customers ordered after us and were served the wrong orders. I can clearly see the workers are under duress. I asked cashier if i could get a refund on my order. We were time limited. We didnt know if/when meal was coming. Cashier gets what i can only assume is boss and he accost me over asking for money back. He was clearly upset. Raised his voice and demanded to know my choice between eating or money. Apparently if you ask for your money back it has far more reaching implications than expected. FOOD POISONING ‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ STAY AWAY FROM ALL CHICKEN EXPRESS‼️ I GOT FOOD POISONING‼️ I had not eaten all day and it was 5 pm. I went to Chicken Express on 2-2-18. I ordered some chicken, mac and cheese and a corn. I started eating the chicken and got to the mac and cheese. I ate some of it and it tasted weird. I looked at it and it seemed to be watered down or have something in it. I stopped eating completely. Three hours later I was vomiting and upset stomach for 14 hours straight. I had to go to urgent Care. I was told I had gotten food poisoning. I called the District Manager Jimmy Sanchez and he reported I did not get food poisoning from Chicken Express because it takes two weeks for it to kick in. What a genius!
