Pei Wei Asian Kitchen — Restaurant in Dallas

Hmmm, so where do I start considering the embarrassing experience I just had my first time picking up food from this store. The 4.9 reviews at least based on my experience, is beyond questionable. Miss Julie, out of respect from one human being to another I must advocate that there's a fine line between good service and being overzealous. My phone call with her was very much a headache. She didn't seem to know what she was doing, needed the manager for help aside from the confusion with our transaction there was nothing that I could say that she wouldn't disagree with or explain how I was wrong from just about any angle that she could. But that's not enough to write a review like this. I draw the line here, after arriving to the store a gentleman in the kitchen asked if he could help me, I mentioned I was here to pick up food for Brian, he pointed to a bag behind Miss Julie. This was my first time at the location I felt I had the green light to go grab my food and proceed to check it prior to paying. Miss Julie waited for me to get halfway behind her before waving her arms frantically and telling me my food isn't ready. "Isn't Ready?" I asked... She then said oh it is ready just give me a minute. Clearly she not only thought that I was going to grab my food and run off like a thief; however though she may deny this, her behavior was consistent with the insinuation. As for her tone with me and waving her arms managed to get the attention of everybody in the restaurant. Miss Julie you really should consider The insinuation you make by not simply saying "hey just give me a moment." Had you done this, though I was irritated from our prior phone call I would have had no reason to take further offense however, Waving your arms, raising your voice, telling me my food isn't ready when it clearly is, doesn't really send much of another message then "Hey! Don't run off with my food without paying!" Beyond embarrassing. I will never come here again and I hope people start to review this place appropriately assuming that I'm not the only one that gets...

We’ve visited this location multiple times. We travel to Dallas regularly and always make this a must stop. Keven’s level of Customer Service is superb and he even recognizes us when we come in. The food is always on point and there’s always enough for leftovers. The restaurant is always clean, even when they are busy. This will continue to be our regular spot, especially after arriving from a flight! We’ve visited other locations in other states and this by far is the best one. Do yourself a favor and...

The first time I tried this Pei Wei, I wasn't a fan, but that's because I'm very particular about how I like my Chicken Fried Rice. But on my second visit, I learned that they are open to "hold the" requests, and I really enjoyed that second meal. We really liked the egg rolls too (both pork and chicken).
