Dickey's Barbecue Pit — Restaurant in Dallas

My food and my experience was terrible, they should get zero stars for what was served on our plates. We both ordered the 2 meat plate with a side of baked beans and a side of potato casserole. The brisket didn't have flavor, but I will say the jalapeno cheddar sausage was good. The baked beans were very watery and had some kind of pepper dirt taste, could not eat them. The potato casserole side was a potato soup, I am guessing when they boiled the potato's they didn't drain them and just added bacon, cheddar and something, absolutely terrible. The table we sat at kept rocking back and forth, moved to a different table, with the same issues. The ice cream machine was out of order, I thought well, the food sucks, but at least I can get an ice cream cone out of this experience and move on with my day, but no. I could not eat the food, I got a to go box and we packed up the meats to feed to our dogs. Finally, I went to the ladies restroom, and we are right in the middle of lunch hour rush, and the door does not have a functional lock, so people were walking in on each other, so embarrassing. The two gentlemen that worked the counter were polite, but whoever cooked this mess needs to read this review, it's just BBQ, every time I have visited a Dickies in the DFW metroplex, it has been exceptional, not today and never again at this location, you spend $50.00 for lunch, it should be...

The simple truth is the baked potato with chopped brisket was not good.

The brisket tastes like nothing as if they didn't season it or anything It don't even taste as if it was smoked. It was very bland very little bit of shredded cheese and their chopped brisket was more so shredded instead of actually chopped.. It didn't have butter and very little to no sour cream cuz you just taste raw baked potato. It was so bland that barbecue sauce didn't help the taste.

I'm highly disappointed. I called and asked if they can remake it and she told me they will have to charge me to remake it.

I would not recommend this location. Because when I go to other Dickies and get the same thing is actually good so they just do not properly do their meals correctly there. I scraped the meat and stuff out so you can see there's no sour cream at all, that might be a small spot of butter or whatever that cottage cheese looking stuff is. It doesn't taste like butter. They were just very lazy and did not correctly make the potato.

I'm going to have to go home and actually season and cook it some more and ask some more barbecue sauce because I felt sad...

Every Friday I order food for my staff at work and we normally go to another location however this was by far the worst experience I’ve ever seen from any restaurant the guys …..after picking the food up I get back to office to find out we are missing multiple plates of food I went back to the store and asked to speak to a manger they said there was no manger on duty after letting them no what happened they accused me of just wanting more food finally they ended replacing the meats only on my food (so childish in my opinion) I open it to see it wrong again once they finally got it right I went back to the office and everyone complained how bad the food taste so I proceeded to call up and got a hold of the manger he informed he was there the whole time but was “changing” he proceeded to say these were corporate sent employees that were in training (so if they are in training why are they unsupervised) he went on to say he agreed 100% there staff dropped the ball and is the reason we had such a bad experience I felt we should get our money back and he agreed I should get my money back but unfortunately only...
