07/08/23: I went to Empire Baking this afternoon to pick up an order. Can’t believe I’ve never been here before. Everything looked delicious!!!! I wanted a sample of all the goodies. Can’t wait to go again.

Lovely bakery and warm hospitality! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted and the smell of all the baked goods was heavenly. The kind gentleman at the counter introduced us to how they craft their baked goods and went over several items since we were first time visitors. I love how they only use good ingredients and no preservatives/unnecessary additives. I purchased a carrot pecan muffin, banana bread, and shortbread cookies. They were all tasty! I knew a head of time that this was a small storefront located at the bakery, so I wasn’t anticipating all the menu items located in Inwood Village.

There’s a chocolate chip cook with sea salt that is delicious. I have to hold myself back from eating them all in a sitting. The muffins are okay.
