Fajita Pete's - Preston Forest — Restaurant in Dallas

I ordered within the app and picked up my food and there was nobody else inside eating so it was just me picking up the food and leaving, but I will say the food exceeded my expectations for fajitas, although I have ordered something different many years ago from Fajita Pete’s in Carrollton, and was happy at that time as well. The food was nice and hot even after driving a few minutes to eat somewhere else, and had the right amount of meat and spiciness, and I love the homemade corn tortillas, and the food is like something you would get from somebody’s house using a homemade recipe, and so much better than a large chain. Food was delicious. My order was beef and chicken fajitas for 2. Queso was just the right thickness. Not sure I got the right flour tortillas. They were a bit thin. Still good but not what you usually get for a flour tortilla. Order extra tortillas because 4 isn't enough for all the meat you get. Good size portions. Plenty of cheese for your fajitas. Look under the lettuce. Very friendly person at the restaurant. My order was ready on time, ordered on the app. Tried to call in my order but only got a recording. 1 thing that I would have like differently. I have used fajita Pete's for catering a family reunion dinner and personal dinner as well. By far my favorites are the steak and shrimp. Still need to try the pork. The white queso is absolutely delicious and definitely a hit. Fajita Pete's will definitely be in a regular dinner rotation.

Update: Don't know what happened but food quality has fallen off the map. The queso is just water with cheese blended in. I can watch it run off the chip like it's being poured from a faucet. Beef is low quality and not very well cooked. Last 2 delivery orders have been wrong and need correcting. Shame the quality has...
