My husband and I are from Washington State and we visited Texas on October 26-November 2nd. We both have some dietary restrictions (gluten-free,certain oils…)which most times make it hard to find places to eat. We like to ask the locals of the places we visit for their recommendations of places to eat ,so we asked for organic type places at a Natural Grocers and more than 4 people recommended Flower Child. We took that as a sign that the place was really good so we tried it and we were pleasantly surprised with what we found. Flower Child is a gem.It became one of our favorite places during our stay and we ended up eating there multiple days and some times twice a day. They have a good variety of foods in their menu and everything is absolutely delicious. Their service is great and the wait time is really good (your food is ready pretty fast I think). They also have a selection of drinks and I particularly loved the rose petal lemonade they have. We ended up visiting this restaurant at various locations and every time we had a great experience. Particularly at the Dallas location we were served really well and felt very welcomed and taken care of. We took our friends who live in Dallas and didn’t know about this place and they loved it too (photo of the 4 of us enjoying the amazing food they serve).

Read moreCute place with fresh healthy options. I had an early dinner with a friend on a rainy March evening. The plants, lighting and seating give the place a cozy vibe. The cobb salad I ordered was filling and delicious. My friend got a Mother Earth bowl with. chicken - he said it was good, but the portion seemed smaller than what he got when ordering the same items in the restaurant in Houston just a few days prior. We also got a veggie trio - butternut squash was tasty (I'm not a fan of butternut squash, so the honey glaze made it good). The brussels sprouts were had a good flavor & supposedly really popular - they were good, but I prefer mine more on the charred and crispy side (I'm not sure if that is an available option). My favorite was the spicy eggplant. The seasonal lemonade was delicious. I'm not a tea drinker, but they had a few different flavors and seemed to be popular. I would definitely come again, especially during the day, and when the weather is warmer. I would also consider the drink...
Read moreFirst-time visit - I came in on a Sunday solo vibe and sat at the bar. The atmosphere was super cute, and I greatly appreciated the open kitchen concept - that transparency puts me at ease. I ordered the cauliflower "risotto," the fresh fruit sides, and the rotating kombucha. I was just looking for a little snack between appointments. Compliments to Chef Raymond and his team because everything was delicious; I needed more! While standing in line for the second time, I had the pleasure of talking to Johnny, who was very nice and knowledgeable about the menu selections. He recommended the Thai cucumber & cantaloupe, and the delightful young lady at the register recommended the roasted sweet potato fries. Again, delicious! The soy glaze on the salad was amazing, and the mint elevated the entire dish. I look forward to my next visit. I could tell the restaurant staff were passionate about their craft and took pride in their work. I'm glad I stopped by and will be sure to...
