Goodies Cakery — Restaurant in Dallas

Went by this bakery a month ago and I was very excited to find a bakery in the DFW area since me and my little one had just relocated. I had spoken with the owner Dani via email and she seemed pretty friendly. But when I went into her bakery shop to buy a mini cake to test out the flavor her attitude was different. I was trying to talk with her about the idea I had for my little one's cake but I felt so rushed and she seemed not interested in what I had to say. It bothered me a lot and she also told me that she does not do deliveries as well.

I don't leave reviews often, but I am currently looking around online for another baker for my daughter's upcoming birthday party because Dani (the cake genius/artist behind Goodies) will be on maternity leave, and I noticed that Goodies has 4.5 stars on Google. This compelled me to leave a review because anything lower than 5 stars for Goodies is an injustice! I've used Goodies for every birthday celebration for the last several years, and they exceed my (irrationally high) expectations every. single. time. There are not enough good things to say about Goodies Cakery. Not only are the custom cakes a work of art, but they are DELICIOUS too. I check out the baker’s portfolio on instagram @goodiescakery to check out all the incredible cakes she has made and what is available in-store. My recent SMU grad cake was amazing and Dani paid attention to every little detail and was so kind to work with.
