With the growing popularity of Sushi in Dallas - Pearl stands out as one of the rising stars. Ran by a Nobu trained chef and his lovely wife (as well as a young and talented staff), you'll find a place that is dedicated to Sushi as an Art rather than as a money grab. For a restaurant to be authentically Japanese - it must have an emphasis on quality and excellence over all else. Pearl is one of a very small number of places in Dallas today that meets this high standard and I cant recommend it more. I expect, given how young the establishment is - that it will only continue to improve and impress. Please stop by and give it a shot - and realize that sometimes the pursuit or art is costly, so be prepared to pay a little more than you might normally at a regular Dallas sushi restaurant. But know that you're not just eating food - you're participating in what I hope for you will be a true experience in a culinary pursuit of perfection! Pro Tip: The Sushi Bar is the spot to be if you can manage it!

Chef Shine Tamaoki's Masterpiece on McKinney Having had the privilege of dining here, I must commend Chef Shine Tamaoki, formerly of Nobu, for the exemplary experience. The journey began with a refreshing High ball drink followed by Miso soup that was truly a delight; no fishy odor and while the quantity was less, the quality spoke volumes. The Salmon and Yellowtail sashimi were next level - they just melted in my mouth. We also tried the spicy yellowtail, spicy tuna, and baked crab roll. The spicy yellowtail was my absolute favorite, so much so, we had to order a second serving! To top it all, the service was friendly and prompt. I'll definitely be returning and highly recommend Pearl Sushi. It's a gem and ranks easily among the top sushi restaurants. Pleasantly surprised and beyond satisfied. 🍣👌🏼

This establishment is breathtaking! It’s very hard for me to put our experience into words.. My boyfriend and I came down to Dallas from Idaho just to visit this place and our expectations for Pearl were blown out of the water. Literally. The wide variety of plates and drinks were incredible. Presented and crafted beautifully (I didn’t have the chance to take pictures of the plates). We dove in right away.. The espresso martini was incredible my first time ever having one and paired with their dessert! Oh my goodness, AMAZING.. The wait staff were very knowledgeable, Kind and extremely attentive.. Don’t get me started on the atmosphere I was mesmerized by the design of this place. Absolutely beautiful I was stunned walking in the doors.. If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would.

A Culinary Gem ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Pearl Sushi has truly won my heart with their exceptional culinary offerings. The experience here is nothing short of magical, and the Wagyu Cream Cheese Roll and Smoked Yellowtail dishes were the stars of the show.

From the moment I walked in, the ambiance transported me to a tranquil oasis. The decor is elegant, creating the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable dining experience.

Now, let's talk about the Wagyu. It was simply divine – melt-in-your-mouth tender, perfectly seared, and bursting with rich, savory flavors. Each bite was a symphony of taste and texture. The chef's mastery in preparing this dish was evident, making it a must-try for any sushi connoisseur.

The Yellowtail was equally outstanding. Delicate, fresh, and brimming with the essence of the sea, it showcased the restaurant's commitment to sourcing the finest ingredients. The Yellowtail sashimi practically dissolved on my tongue, leaving a delightful trail of umami goodness.

The attentive and knowledgeable staff at Pearl Sushi added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. Their recommendations and warm hospitality made the dining experience even more memorable.

In summary, Pearl Sushi is a new hidden gem for sushi lovers. If you're looking for an exquisite culinary journey, don't miss their Wagyu and Yellowtail offerings. This place is a true pearl in the world of sushi, and I can't wait to return for another enchanting...

If you're searching for an unforgettable sushi dining experience, look no further—this restaurant is pure perfection! From the moment I made the reservation (shoutout to their easy-to-navigate website), everything was seamless.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere immediately impressed me. The elegant yet cozy décor created a lovely ambience, setting the tone for an amazing evening. Prior to our dinning, my husband and I reviewed their online menu and let’s just say we were indecisive. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and knowledgeable about Japanese dishes, guiding us through the menu with enthusiasm.

The food? Absolutely phenomenal. We started with the Toro Caviar that was impeccably fresh and brimming with flavor. The Hirame Usuzukuri was beautifully plated and perfectly balanced—a light and refreshing dish that highlighted the freshness of the ingredients. The American Wagyu was a standout. Bold and savory. You could taste the quality in every dish.

Their manager Kaya helped us pair the perfect sake according to our dinner. And least to say, Jay and I loved it.

This restaurant is an all-around winner—delicious food, outstanding service, the chic ambience, and even an easy online experience. It's clear they care about their customers at every level. I can’t wait to return!...

Hillary at Pearl is the best member of a waitstaff I’ve experienced in Dallas. She’s kind, thoughtful, makes suggestions based on your palate, never gets in your personal space, is funny and kind, and her recs were on point. 10/5 stars. Will only come back when Hillary H is there! :)

The food was delicious. The fish is fresh, fatty, has zero aftertaste… I cannot say enough how much I enjoyed this.

The cocktails were beautifully blended- subtle with just the right amount of sweetness (not overly sweet or syrupy).

Got the spicy tuna on crispy rice- delish. The Yellowtail from the Cold Plates with ponzu - yumm and that sauce was a nice mix of citrus and bitter to go with the fatty fish and Serrano heat. Had the torched salmon roll- it was really good. The spicy tuna roll was honest to goodness one of my favorite things. And the yellowtail and sashimi and King Salmon nigiri- yum yum yum. Perfect.

We made friends with the table next to us and the whole restaurant supported our new friendship! They even gave us all a shot for being kind and fun. Truly was a lovely experience and I’m thankful we chose Pearl. Will be...
