Hideaway on Henderson — Restaurant in Dallas

DO NOT VISIT THIS LOCATION.....This is the worst experience ever the staff was extremely rude and argumentive. Maybe because we were the only black guest I ordered wings and fries expecting the same experience as before and they failed miserably. Desiree was a wonderful waitress when I previously visited unfortunately she wasn't there tonight. I think these guys were jealous perhaps. My family member got wings too and she got a mixed of flats and wings and when I spoke upon my dissatisfaction of being forced to keep 12 steroid looking chicken drummets with no flats I was forced to leave. I would not revisit this place ever and don't recommend anyone else to and if you take a chance visit with caution. Go to another establishment or any location around them. The dudes behind the bar especially the larger male told me if I don't like it I can get out well don't threaten me with a good time. I’ve been in the bar industry in the city of Dallas for the last 5 years, and nothing gets me more angry than seeing bartenders drunk behind the bar but I guess that’s the norm for hideaway. I ordered 4 shots and the bartender claimed they gave me my card back but as soon as the book was handed to me and I noticed my card wasn’t there I showed my friends and they were knowledgeable about the whole situation. The bartenders came outside of the bar and claimed they gave it to me and asked to checked my pockets and it wasn’t until another employee checked behind the bar and found my card on the floor. IN THE BACK OF THE BAR. And I get it mistakes happened but for a bartender to not acknowledge their own mistakes and to blame to customer is outrageous. There needs to be better management here and if not then the owner should step in line, bc after tonight I can only expect the worst. From service...

Don't go if from out of state. Doorman wouldn't let me join my friends at this bar because my Missouri Drivers license said "not for Real ID purposes" which only means I can't use it to board an airplane using the Real ID method. It's a valid driver's license and I'm 29 years old. My friends were on the patio so I was talking to them from the sidewalk. They handed me a cup of water. The doorman came over and grabbed a cup of water out my hand and was super rude. Won't go back. And recommend the owner provide the doorman better training because most Missouri drivers license say "not for Real ID purposes" on the top...
