We were coming to try an assortment of options from plomo’s based off their TikTok videos.
We saw the picture of the burger on the banner passing by high-fives from the parking lot. So we changed our plan, ordered 2 quesadillas with sides (from plomo’s and went back to High-fives and got..-) 2 burgers with fries so we could have two experiences in one! We ordered one Shmurger just the way it came and another with everything on the side. We also got the fries and 5 sauces. I didn’t like any of the sauces besides ketchup, they weren’t bad at all, they just weren’t anything I wanted to keep eating or would order again. (I love the idea of dipping sauces, having really good ones would have been top notch though). (I didn’t like the 3 sauces I tried from Plomo’s either btw.) Free refills for my little boys drinks and one alcohol drink that was really good!
I was almost turned off by the staff reviews on Google but they ended up being the BEST thing about the whole night! Literally every single person was exceptional every second of the evening! (We have kiddos so we were there a while) From the bartender (another bartender also..) to the busser, to the guy bringing out food and then the male and female who showed up later in the night with Mardi Gras stuff and shots (we didn’t talk to those two but they looked friendly, fun and created a fun environment). The bartender who looks like Brian Austin Green was phenomenal. We had 2 young children and got treated very well. The busser was quick and accommodating!! Helping with drinks, food, tables. We also asked for a picture and he was quick to help. The guy who brought out the food could not have been more kind either!! He went out of his way to check on us and make sure we were taken care of the entire time. (We had the most interaction with the busser and the food runner and they are both GOLD and a true asset to this business. My experience with the bartender was noticing how quick he was through out the night. It got really busy and he just thing moving extremely quick when we needed anything.)
Honestly, the food was not so great that I’d come back for just that. It was definitely good! Just not the best.. But EVERY person I encountered last night was beyond kind, helpful, accommodating and happy to help while being a strong face for this business. I’d be proud to have any of these employees at the forefront of my business!!! We had a great experience and would definitely stop for a drink next time...
Read moreI went whenever the Simpsons event was happening. Upon entering the bar and restaurant interior, I noticed there was a sign that said there would be a 20% auto gratuity added to the entire check. After I was seated, I waited a while for the server to come out, they never did. I ended up going up to the bar and asking evidently, you had to order your drink, no matter what it is (even a soda, which is what I was going to order) from the bartender. Also, food had to be ordered from the bartender. I was puzzles because I was wondering what the 20% gratuity was for. I had to approach the bar from my seat to order the drink, wait for it, and then sit back down. Then I had to get back up and order food, and sit back down. If I needed a refill, I would have to get out of my chair and go to the bar again.
Gratuity is for service provided. If I'm having to do all of the light work, then what is a gratuity for? It sounds like extra money for the bartenders.
I tried expressing my sentiment to the bartender, and she seemed very unempathetic and very understanding for the most part. She basically said the whole, "it's not my fault" thing, without any apology or sympathy. She is an employee of the establishment, so even though it is not personally her fault why this idiotic rule is in place, it would not be outside at the realm of what's considered acceptable for her to apologize as a representative of the establishment for this, even though it is not personally her fault, of course.
Add on this that the prices were extremely expensive in my opinion ($8 for an à la carte basic smallish burger that they are making en masse - it's because the person I went with ordered and it came out in about 2 minutes, burgers take longer than 2 minutes to cook), the TVs playing closed caption Simpsons episodes along with the cute little posters up or nothing near close enough to salvage my utterly soiled experience here.
Move along, folks. This place will take your money (and a lot of it), not feel bad about it, and not even act like they care.

Read moreI may have just experienced the absolute worst customer service ever. The bartender made me the wrong shot, so I asked him to make me a new one nicely. His response was "it's the same, sweet st as the other" and to "take the f*ing shot." Obviously, I was appalled by the rude answer, so I asked him what his attitude was. Then he threatened to kick me out of the bar. Because I wanted him to remake the drink he wrongfully made. He eventually poured me a new drink, but I was still upset at the poor service, understandably so. I went back to my group of friends to complain, and the bartender left the bar to approach me to continue the argument. At this point, I'm absolutely frustrated, so I talk back, I told him he made me the wrong drink, he looked in the eye and said "are you even a bartender," and he kicks me out of the bar. All because I was given the wrong drink, asked for a new one, and argued back with the bartender while I tried to defend myself. I've never felt so embarrassed in my life as I left the bar. Just because I wanted the right drink I paid for. The bartender deserves to be fired. I will never return to this bar, and I will never recommend...
