J's Donuts — Restaurant in Dallas

Won’t be going here again. This is the 4th time I’ve came here with a problem (I’ve only been here 6 times). Usually they’ve been out of your classic glazed donuts the times I’ve gone around 9:30-10 AM.

So this time I went extra early 5:40AM. I ordered a dozen glazed donuts, 2 maple, and one chocolate sprinkled donut. Guy in back dipped a nice fresh maple donut for me. Well after she checked me out I Checked the box and only saw one maple so I politely said I’m sorry made a mistake I thought I ordered 2 maple donuts I only got one can I please order another one but I’ll wait until after you help the next guest because I don’t want to hold up the line. She agreed and helped the next guest. He ordered a maple donut and a very few other things. After he checked out I stepped back over and asked to pay for the maple donut that was supposed to be my second one that I knew I ordered on the first one but was trying to not make her feel bad bc we are all humans and make mistakes but I know I ordered it bc I always order the same thing even if I know they don’t have it. Anyways she just looks at me as I’m holding my bank card up ready to pay and she says oh no we don’t have any maple donuts only 2.

So Not only am i frustrated that I stepped away and she knew I wanted a second maple donut and just gave it to another person but I’m more upset about the fact that she just lied to me for these maple donuts were freshly dipped and there were more fresh donuts not yet dipped or sprinkled she just didn’t want to run my card again and as I’m walking away I pull out cash and she tries to help me then. I proceeded to walk away bc she lied to begin with.

I understand not wanting to run a bank card bc of the fees the bank charges the companies but I had cash too all she had to do was ask to use the cash instead bc of bank fees.

Oh I forgot to mention with my first order she even saw my cash when I was pulling out...

This is the second time I have been to this breakfast donut 🍩 spot. I waited to write a review because I could not believe what I was tasting the first time. There has to be some kind of secret 🤫 ingredient that they are using. I have never tasted a donut 🍩 that taste this good🤤. Now the other donuts they have in their selection are pretty awesome also but the ones that I am sharing in this picture has to be some kind of secret technique🙀. I highly recommend trying these items once or twice. Just be warned it's possible you may get...

I got a dozen mixed doughnuts to take to work. They tasted good but nothing special to draw me back. The lady helping was nice. Atmosphere was clean but aa absolutely HATE going in somewhere and they do not have a single item price listed Anywhere. My dozen mixed doughnuts cost $17 dollars. That is ridiculous in my opinion. I know at least 3 other places that I can get the same things for less money and even a bit better tasting. Sadly I would not recommend this place unless you just happen to see it and get a spur of the moment...
